I'm 54 and I do find I use more stud earrings now. I have two holes in each ear plus I wear specs so there's too much face furniture going on for my liking. So my daughter is the happy recipient of my earrings ive bought over the years. My hair is short/medium.
Now I tend to use crystal or diamond studs ( my daughter bought me the diamonds for my 50th).

Only turned 50 a couple of weeks ago but I am finding I care less about what anyone else thinks about what I am wearing so I am wearing dangly earrings today because I like them.
Also they were the only ones I could get in that didn't have some fiddly fastening and that my new reading glasses could see ! Fish hook earrings collection is getting bigger as my eye sight gets dimmer. |

Aha!
I wasn't implying there's anything wrong with it, by the way, or that all women over 50 wear them. Just something I'd noticed. |
