My little bbq platter. Ribs aren't as lushious looking as Hazzas though.

Thanks for the compliments, guys.. I really am chuffed, I always think my plating up is the worst part, but I've been making a conscious effort to improve the presentation of my food.
Last night we had burgers and potato salad. |

I haven't made macarons in forever, but I bought some gloopy thick blue food colouring, so the natural progression from that was to make blueberry macarons!
Drying out. Am not happy with the colour, it's more bubblegum than blueberry. Cooked, cooled, upside down and ready to be filled. It feels like a macaron factory! Some done, but here you can see the insides too. Parceled up and ready to go! |

All this talk of cake made me fancy some baking and as I managed to get some 81% dark chocolate it just had to be a chocolate cake

Now that I've started working full-time, I have to get out all my baking energy on the weekends!
Scones for breakfast- plain and blueberry/white chocolate. Chocolate-peanut macarons. The love child of a macaron and a Reese's peanut butter cup! |
