I never disliked Sara before and in fact at one point I would have though she was going to win it. But tonight's HL show really turned my opinion of her.

The way she treated Deana was terrible. She was simply asked one question why did she vote for conservative and her answer was the biggest load of rubbish I ever heard. She starts going on about questions and answers. I reckon she maybe saw one episode and doesn't even remember what it was about.

Deana was right to press it, and Ashliegh was right to defend her but then turning around and slagging her behind her back, not on.

If I was Deana I would have let the subject go when I discovered that she didn't know anything about it.

A little contradictory? I agree with your second statement. If they were friends, she shouldn't have kept going. But then she wouldn't have made her look so stupid, which was her whole purpose after all.

In summary:

Sara doesn't know anything, and is trying to make herself look smarter than she is, rather than appear as some vapid empty-headed stereotypical model.

Deana, her supposed friend, took the opportunity to expose this and belittle her in front of everybody, embarrassing and flustering her. Sara, made to look stupid, is less than happy, and goes off in a ranty huff.

Sure, you could argue that Sara was never really her friend, and only became her "friend" when she knew Deana was popular. But then, they were still "friends" up until now, and it was Deana who just threw her "friend" under the metaphorical bus.

Neither of them come out of this particularly well, and in previous years Deana would probably be gone already. It's a sign of how godawful and unlikeable this year's housemates are that Deana and the Misery-Guts Luke A are two of the most popular of a bad bunch.

Oh, this incident also showed Ashleigh to be a backstabber, again, but we already knew that. Some people are just two-faced, but she has about a million faces. And they all have herpes.

Ive gone right off sara , seems she just wants to talk at everybody .she obviously isnt very bright and hasnt got a clue what shes talking about. i think deana is more intelligent than any of this lot and thats why they dont like her.

Completely subjective of course, just my opinion, but I don't think she's demonstrated anything particularly special. She's been kind of dull for the most part, but picked up a hell of a lot of followers initially in reaction to all the vile crap she was getting from certain hideous housemates earlier on.

Prior to any of that happening, she basically just sat around in bed, occasionally talking about the game with someone, being a pretty face but not doing much. We've had housemates like that before, totally inoffensive, but not likely winners. She's become a figurehead in the viewers' fight against the other hideous morons that are in there. I think that in previous years, WITHOUT such a horrid bunch of housemates, where so many of them have far more negative traits than positive, there wouldn't have been "epilator-gate", she wouldn't have been victimised early on, she'd have coasted through several weeks while the inital "characters" were gotten rid of, but she wouldn't make it to the end. Certainly not as winner.

Not asking the question... persistently asking and asking, pressing the issue, even once it was obvious Sara was clueless, with the intent to expose in front of everybody that Sara didn't really know what she was talking about. To embarrass her.

She even admitted it outside in the garden with Luke and Adam, when she explained that she did it because she's "not going to sit there while people try to make themselves look good".

You could say fair enough, somebody was talking bollocks and she called them on it. It's just not a very generous attitude to have towards a friend though. Even if they weren't REAL friends, it's Deana who just took the step of abandoning the pretence of the "friendship". That's what I was referring to as being thrown under the bus.

Im not sure it was that clear,the persistant asking,the problem is Sara whilst saying she doesnt want to talk about it she continues to try and make her point,..she did it over and over on the lf last week,even when it was all settled in the hls tonight ,she went back to it..and as I say if my friend or i was waffling in the manner Sara seemed to be,fairs fair if some one 'pulls' you on it,...no big falling out matter.

Nah, Deana asked the question once and then Sara immediately snapped I don't wanna talk about it, Deana said but I would like to know, to which she replied I am not going to argue with you, Deana said I am not arguing with you I am just interested, then Ash buts in and agrees it is a discussion, Sara goes on the defence and says I don't want to talk about it and Deana quite rightly states that she has been talking 'about it' for nearly an hour.

Jeez .. Deana can't win. All this crap about she wouldn't have said that if she was a 'real friend' is bull. You could say that Deana was polishing Sara's ego by wanting to engage in the discussion in the hope that she would get a sensible answer, but when. once again Sara goes all loopy, Deana obviously knew she was talking crap and moaned to Luke and Adam about Sara.

Deana has had this bull from Sara before, the other day when Sara accussed her of being funny towards her and when Deana asked her to explain she went all loopy, dim and defensive cause even she did not know.

Again jeez .. how many more times have you got to walk on egg shells with Sara. I am sure Deana thinks of her as her friend and wants her to be her friend as she hasn't got anyone else in there but Sara is flaky and in my opinion away with the fairies. Sorry to say she is just like her mother, neither of them make sense. Sure they seem to be 'nice' people... but what the hell is going on in their heads.

As for Deana being out of the house if it was not for Connor's vile statement. I dunno about that, if you consider what all the others have had to offer to the house Deana is certainly on par with them if not above them.

This year, yes. I don't know how well she'd have done this year if not for that whole Conor rant, but it remains that the majority of housemates this year have very few redeeming features, and Deana is certainly better than most of them. When I said I think she'd be gone already, I was referring to if she'd been in previous years, with those housemates. Up against a better quality of housemate, I don't think she'd have proven to be so popular.
