BB production and bookies
This might sound stupid but do you think on opening night they might place bets on the out right winner. There could be a lot of money involved even enough to retire if done correctly. I don't see any reason for bb to fix the show unless large amount of money was at stake. If i was on the bb production team i would deffnetly think about it if i thought i could get away with it.

My theory is that due to Conor being an early favourite, they decided to put money on it and they knew that showing his bad side would make him outside to win therefore they then start placing bets on odds that would give them big payouts then if Conor wins then they will make money! Furthest Conor has been is 100/1 so they could make a lot Vote deana |

Well a few ago there was a professional gambler who used to post here as well as write for poker magazines.
He was one of the golden ticket entrants in BB7 when Snoozie won and was also friendly with production. Whilst at Boreham Wood one day he was told the eviction percentages as it stood a few hours before eviction. ![]() Now make of that what you will. |

If I were a bookie in the current debacle I would be voiding all Big Brother UK bets.

Whereas I don't rate the production team's ability to run a fair contest by sticking to the flippin' rules and dealing with contestants who flout all the obvious decency and fair play rules, I don't think they are fixing the phone voting.
An independent company runs this and it would be out of the control of BB.I don't think it is too hard for them to know the odds better than we do because they have all the historic percentages at their fingertips and would be able to combine those with a little guesswork. I certainly don't think they are running down to the bookies in any corporate attempt to earn money. It's not like they would have a few grand sitting in the petty cash tin. I am pretty sure they do tweak editing to put a favourite in danger. This fuels voting, which fuels revenue. So that would be in their interests. I am more concerned with the closing of the Facebook voting. That does worry me and I would like more information on what the issues and potential knock on effects might be, |
