Young Love from tonight's concert. They sound amazing. Seems like they're singing it more or less the way they do it in the album...

They brought Tara on stage with them for Everyday Superstar.

I don't know if there are people here who are not on Twitter, I'm posting all this just in case..
Thanks Thea, I don't have twitter and the YouTube search on iPhone is useless.

I've got to say my initial reaction is slight disappointment but I'm probably sulking because they didn't do my favourite song - How Did You Know? I sort of guessed they wouldn't as it's kind of a solo effort but its a shame that John didn't play guitar. If they want to be taken more seriously that would help.

Did anyone notice what the speculator stunt was? Was there one?

I'm sure as always they gave a great performance and if I was there watching it I'd feel very different.

It just doesn't make any sense to me, their songs are exactly the type of songs you dance you ass off. Concerts in general are meant to be crazy, people jumping around, dancing and stuff.
Yes, most of their concerts in Ireland and the UK are seated. For me was also surprising as most of the concerts here are standing concerts.
Fans are never happy with the "not allowed to stand up" rule.

Ok, according to twitter, the second half of the show is: What's your number, Under Pressure, All I want is you, Cool Heroes, POV, Everyday superstar, Wow oh wow, Hold the world, Distortion, Can't forget you and Waterline.

So that makes it: 12 songs from Young Love (All of them except Never Better, How did you know and Give it up), 9 from Victory, and 4 from Planet Jedward.
I wish they sang all the Young Love songs, but it's nice to see they can give a full concert just with their music

You're welcome

Anyway, this girl was tweeting through entire concert, and looks like there aren't any spectacular things going on on stage, some pyrotechnics during Can't Forget You, they brought fans on stage during Miss America, some light action during Luminous, a huge screen with different vids playing during each song and that's about it...

Here's the set list:

School's Out
Bad Behavior
Young Love
All The Small Things
Luminous
Happens In The Dark
Saturday Night/Techno Girl/Miss America/Teenage Dreams Medley
What It Feels Like
Lipstick
Ghostbusters
Girl Like You
What's Your Number
Under Pressure
All I Want Is You
Cool Heroes
POV
Everyday Superstar
Wow Oh Wow
Hold The World
Distortion
Can't Forget You
Waterline

It's a great set list, but I was hoping for more songs from the YL album and for some acoustic performances...

LOL, sorry, I didn't see you already wrote all the songs they performed tonight.

The seated concert thing is really weird for me. I've been to a lot of concerts in my life, and I can't imagine sitting and not being allowed to jump and dance. Just... weird.

Although they are usually seated (probably because they are small/medium venues here) most people usually stand anyway. At least they did in Glasgow last December.

Shame they didn't do Give it up, that's one of my favourites.

Fans tweeted tonight that security didn't allow them to stand up. It just doesn't make sense to me, the songs are so energetic and people are not allowed to dance... They put a fence near the stage anyway, and there's security there, it's not like fans will do a riot or something...

uh oh some fans are saying on twitter that John was badly mobbed after the concert, hair pulling, pushes, and that John even ended up crying (I was doubtful of this being true but I've read 3 different fans who where there saying the same thing)

Apparently, John was seriously mobbed tonight and some say he even started crying.

Here's a story one fan tweeted:

"I walked over quietly and John was there taking pictures. Someone in the mob saw and everyone ran over to him. 2 people got a picture with him before they came (me and someone else) They were mobbing him so he ran away and they all followed him. It was so lousy on him though, about 100 kids pulling his hair and shouting at him, and pushing him. He even tried to crawl under a fence to get away from them but they wouldn't stop. Paddy got him in the end but it was absolutely disgusting."

Guess things got out of hand, fans went crazy when he came out and mobbed him. One fan said he was yelling to everyone to chill out, but I guess fans didn't listen and he couldn't take it... I just hope he didn't hurt himself.

Sounds scary, here's the report of another fan:

"What happened was the concert ended and their bus was outside. Everyone crowded around the bus. All of a sudden there was a scream, and John came running out the other back door. Some mother grabbed around his stomach and dragged him across the road. She held onto him. Loads of kiddies started pulling his hair so much and some boy hugged onto his neck and swung out of him. He screamed 'Chill out' and his face was all white as if he was gonna faint. He got so scared and like got worried and started crying.
He got pulled to the ground and about 100 people trampling on him. He got pushed through a gap in the fence and ran back across the road and when he got to the back door it was logged. He started banging and kicking and was being trampled by people. Pob came over and finally got him in."
" He's absolutely fine! Seriously, he was going in and said 'bye guys' and waved"

I've learned to wait a couple of days before worrying about anything along these lines. The initial accounts usually turn out to be greatly exaggerated.

This has happened before a few times... does anyone remember the Holy Fence (my personal fave)? I'm not saying that this story might not be true... just that, in the past, these types of mishaps have been overly tweeted in the spur of the moment.

That's not nice at all

It's part and parcel of being a pop star alas.....many a "teen idol" has been mobbed by frenzied fans over the years and had the shirt torn off their back etc (but it still wouldn't excuse things if that's what happened tonight).

I think the point is, people need to calm down in situations like this, someone will get hurt if this mobbing thing continues.

Most of the fans agree on the fact that he was grabbed, pulled and tried to escape. Maybe it wasn't as dramatic as some fans are telling it, but it looks like it was pretty scary.
I get so mad when something like this happens.

okay, from what I'm reading now (and all the fans there seem to agree with): John wasn't going out to meet the fans but to distract them so Edward, Susanna and Tara could leave the venue by the back door and it got out of hand. The ones mobbing weren't really fans but little kids and seems it was a mother who pushed John across the road. John wasn't full on crying but teared up a bit because he was scared. And then POB saved the day

Well, if thats even partially true, I guess we've got even less chance of meeting them now. Liam (and Paddy) will be going 'I told you this would happen'.....

OK - why on earth was John acting as the distraction and security not doing their job in the first place?

Although I guess knowing John it served two purposes at once - meeting some fans and providing a distraction - trying to please everyone again.

I read about the distraction part too.
Some say he was hurt, some say he wasn't, so it seems that he was seriously upset and shaken up at least. Apparently the mothers were the worst, not the actual teenage fans...

I tweeted tonight that stuff like this is the reason I always carry a pepper spray with me That and cause of all the weirdos..

I don't know about the distraction part, it just doesn't make sense that they would let John go alone out there, without Liam or Paddy. I think John wanted to go out there, meet some fans, but things got out of control.

All this mobbed stuff is dangerous

The jeds should stop coming out and as a test say right we are going to act like all the other celebs and not let the fans have the access and we will see if all the fans stay

I think the jeds are now scared to stop doing things that set them apart from other pop stars/celebs incase the leave the fandom

Like they can come out 10 times but if they don't do it once they get dissed it's annoying

Well all these fans can go and be fans of Justin b or jls or one direction and good luck with meeting or chatting with those Artists
And don't say it's a different level of fame that's rubbish if these artists want to met and send time with fans they could it's actually easier they had a huge security team

It's not the first time, mind you.....there have been three or four incidents this year where crowds became boisterous and the twins were manhandled a little.

I know, but they had to know there's a huge crowd outside, so I'm thinking, maybe John went out on his own. I really don't want to believe that they're doing their job so poorly.

Well, it was expected. At least there are no bad comments...

JR, I don't get the birth mark removal too. The only reason that I can think of is that they did it to remove the obvious difference between them. The boys seem to like the fact a lot of people don't know which one's John and which one's Edward.
