New 3D toys
After nagging the missus for months, she finally relented and let me buy a 3D TV (Samsung 37") and 3D bluray player. (Samsung).
They get delivered on Saturday, so in the mean time, what 3D films do people recommend I buy? |

In terms of 3D only, not allowing for feeble stories or rubbish acting:
Avatar Captain America Tangled How to Train Your Dragon Despicable Me Wrath of the Titans (not the lame Clash) Hugo Drive Angry Dark Country Coraline My Bloody Valentine Immortals Puss in Boots Megamind Final Destination (the racetrack one) |

Toy Story 3 3D
The USB rechargeable active glasses I have are light and comfortable. Unfortunately I rarely use them as there is so little good content. I watched the Olympic opening ceremony in 3D for about 15 minutes and was disappointed so switched to normal HD. The best 3D content I've seen so far have all been animations. |

I hope you don’t have the same problem as my friend. He bought a Samsung TV and returned it the next day because of eye fatigue. I am not saying the TV had problem. The problem was active technology. Avatar and How to Train your dragon will be a great choice for 3d viewing.

Ok thanks for the advice so far, very happy with my new purchases :-)
On a side note, I used to have apple tv and liked the fact I could rent movies from the apple store, on Smart TV I can watch Lovefilm, iPlayer and Netflix, but is there an app to rent new to DVD movies similar to how apple work with their movie rental service? |
