I was halfway through Uncharted 3 when my PS3 was taken in a burglary. So I have lost all my progress. When I get my new console, is there any way of skipping to the part I was up to? Can you get pass codes or anything like that? Or is this just a stupid question.

First of all I am sorry to hear that you have been a victim of a burglary.

In answer to your questions; No you will not be able to skip up until to your progress as your save is linked to your profile, Unless you were a PS+ subscriber than your saves would have been backed up by a cloud service.

Otherwise you can purchase a Xploder disc to download gamesaves or start the game afresh.

Then again Uncharted 3 is good game so playing it from the beginning isn't too bad.
