One Gold and one Bronze so far, Ireland supporters really have something to brag about.

Well done to her. It's just a shame that the Irish crowd were boo'ing Nicola Adams during her bout.

I thought they were booing her opposition? They were booing during Katie Taylor's fight too.

Yes we do its not about winning the most medals its about fighting to get at least one. Just because Team GB is doing extremely well there is not need to be B*tchy. Yes GB are doing well and you have every right to be pleased so stop being petty.

And more medal chances to come : it's almost been forgotten that three Irish boxers are fighting for silver in their next match

Katie Taylor is now a legend at last she along with probably many other women boxers fought to get Womens boxing into the Olympics and along with Nicola Adams has achieved Gold. I am so proud and no b*tchy comments against her or Irelands success today is going to get me down.

Damn right we do! A country of 4.5 million winning medals, with more to come? I'm very proud

It's nice to see Ireland achieve some success for once. I hope there are more celebrations to come.
