Hello and welcome to the ninth round of DS The Strictly Dancefloor. Last time it was a shock departure for Jordan and Ola and Luke and Lilia. Today though the remaining 9 couples return to the floor with the aim of securing a place in Sunday's show.

The task though tonight is the same for every couple - it is the Mambo, a bit of a hybrid of the Samba and the Salsa. And just like last series it is at this point that we welcome a fifth judge to the planel. And making a a return to the judges desk is Ash. So every couple's total is now out of 50.

Time to get our first couple out on the floor and opening the show with They were doing the Mambo by Vaughan Monroe it is Niall and Natalie

It is fast and fun, and needs rhythm. And that had everything you need in the Mambo

She has visably grown in confidence and what a dancer she has become. Another cracker from Emmaaa and Artem

Wow full of fun and Mitch is another who has shown versatility now with latin as well as ballroom

Jake and Karen have done it again! a risk with the song- but the fans loved that Mambo - and the songchoice did work

Well she has bounced back with some style and Emma and Pasha look in great form

And Malik and Katya have formed a great partnership and seem so in tune with each other on every dance. I think Malik has tamed Katya too

And the judges just about agreeing with each other - 8's across the board with the exception of Ash who says 7, and it is 39/50 for Amy and Brendan

And closing the show with their mambo to Mambo number 5 from Lou Bega please welcome Callum and Camilla to the floor

Oh yes - what a way to close the show and the Great Dane is jumping all over Callum there

Rock n' Roll is interesting, I've never done this dance before. The format seems to be different from the last time I was a contestant, but then maybe I didn't get far enough

Rock and Roll has been done on SCD before - think Ricky Whittle and Natalie Cassidy drew Rock and Roll in Series 7

Yeah, I knew it had been done on SCD before, but I have never recalled doing it on this show before. The last time I got far-ish we were given a Latin and a Ballroom to do on the same round. I'm hoping I get far enough this series to be able to do a few more of the core Ballroom and Latin dances

Round 11 will see a return to a random selectiong from the traditonal ten dance list

Round 12 is the double trouble of ballroom and latin
Round 13/qfinals one ballroom and the charleston
Round 14/s finals - Argentine Tango and Hustle
