Other than being Amy Crackhouses ex boyfriend, is there any reason we should know this guy?

Then they'd have to put up 10 foot tall neon signs saying "PLEASE KEEP YOUR CHILDREN AWAY FROM HIGH PLATFORMS WHERE THEY CAN FALL TO THEIR DEATH" and then they'd get damaged and some other dumb kid would fall to their doom and the complaint would be "the signs were damaged, we didn't know!" rather than "Well, we are pretty dumb to have let our kid walk above a busy waterway, now she is dead perhaps we shouldn't have more kids because we are clearly crappy parents who want to blame obstructed or damaged signs and not our own crap parenting skills."

The sad/funny thing is they likely have 15 more years to find ways to neglect their duties to put her in an early grave so... good luck to her I guess, she certainly will need it if her parents are letting her at such a young age face certain death on the edge of a slippery bridge.
Brilliant post, sadly true

Whatever bad he did in his life, he doesn't deserve to die, least of all because his ex wife did.
And Mitch Winehouse seems to agree with you:

Terrible news about Blake this morning. Remember Amy loved him. Let's pray for his recovery. Mitch
Good on Mitch. It must be bringing some raw memories for him.

Presumably for evidence in case this little tot had slipped?

I know I'd have said something to them myself, but these days it's difficult as you'll either get a mouthful of abuse or worse in return......

Because if they had made a dash for her it may have alarmed the child and parents resulting in an accident that he/she would then take the blame instead of the pig thick parents!

Well said. I've been quite shocked at some of the vitriol that people are spouting on here tonight. It's sad to read.

I hope he pulls through for the sake of his family.

What else could they have done ? if the had a go at the parents the child may have become upset/frightened then lost her balance as a result.

Drugs didn't cause Amy's death, alcohol did, but BFC is/was almost certainly guilty of introducing her to heroin and crack.

Amy was already on drugs when she met blake. they were 2 addicts that got together. I'm not sure why he's being the scapegoat

Because 'social media' comes before 'social responsibility' in the 21st century.

If Mitch can find something in his heart to forgive Blake for taking his daughter down such a dark path, then I don't see why anyone else would wish this guy harm. I hope he makes a full recovery for the sake of his child.

I'm a massive fan of Amy, and the music world is a poorer place without her, but to hear some people on here say switch Blake's life support machine off is disgusting - words fail me tbh.

He's someone's son after all.

Only 2 people I have strong sympathy for - his Mother and his baby son.

I know. Are people just choosing to forget that? It's tragic, they loved each other so much, yet were so bad together.

I really hope he pulls through, but maybe too much damage has been done now.
