The Hobbit will fit in somewhere between third and sixth. It doesn't stand a chance against the top two.

I think the Hobbit will wind up as number 2 actually.
It will cross 1 billion for sure

I'm fairly sure The Hobbit will make a Billion aswell.

------

Wiki has the 9th biggest film of 2012 as Titanic 3D, with a gross of 343,550,770 rather than The Intouchables though. All the other grosses are the same as the OP's so it's up to date.

Nothing was gonna beat The Avengers mainly because of the 3D. TDKR is practically guranteed the Billion now.

I think 3D is roughly 15% of the overall takings.

You know I'm surprised at how big the Ice Age Franchise actually is. I would never have thought it would have made a total of $2.6bn dollars, or that it's fourth film would make $700m.

I also think the Hobbit will go in at around 2/3 and Breaking Dawn Part 2 will go to 4, particularly as it is the final chapter.

surprised to see Snow White in there! not seen it, so no idea if it is any good or not, but just wouldn;t have thought that it was that popular - there has been little publicity for it (I would have thought Magic Mike would have been in there though....)

I think Skyfall will also make an appearance in the top 5. It looks damn good from the trailers so far.

TDKR is bound to top 1 billion, it is about to be released in China, one of the fastest growing movie markets in the world. Doubt it'll beat the avengers, but then what can?

It's amazing to see how huge THG was in the US compared to the rest of the world (though it did very well in the UK and Australia) $400 million dollars +. I think that is because the book phenomenon hadn't quite crossed over by that time. I can see the sequel being massive overseas, the books are selling extremely fast in Asian and European countries (though not as fast as a certain erotic novel ).

Well it cost $50 Million to make & it made almost $235 million, so i doubt they are complaining.

Am I the only person that thought The Hunger Games looked crap? Everyone else thought it looked amazing, but I just couldn't see it...

Loved TDKR and The Amazing Spider-man though...
