The only films I've liked him in were (predictably) In Bruges, and I also thought he was fun in Daredevil oddly.

They are,a few scenes are almost indentical,it was ok kinnda like bourne meets minorty report,it has a more serious tone but i still prefer arnies even though its cheesy lol i did like the hand phone scene though.

remakes of originally good films confuse me...

exhibit A:

planet of the apes
Charlie and the chocolate factory
psycho

They employ huge production teams, surely someone should notice that they took a good film and just turned it into cr*p

Hope total recall does not end up the same way.

Forgot to add The Italian Job - the worse remake of a film I have seen.

Total Recall looks like it will be the same .... No MARS FFS! + What makes that film is the late 80's cheese and Arny ... ""COHAGEN YOU BASTARD !!!"

From when I saw the trailer in the cinema, Total Recall 2012 seems just like a broken pencil.
Pointless.
Looks watered down and an insult to the Arnie classic As if Farrell's character actually says "If I'm not me, who the hell am I?"

Charlie & The Chocolate Factory remake - Good, perhaps better than the original
The Italian Job - It had very little in common with the original. Stand alone it was a good film though...

Just finished watching this. Pretty good story with some good action scenes. Not as good as the original with Arnie, but Colin Farrell does do a pretty good job in it, so is still worth a watch especially if you like Kate Beckinsale & Jessica Biel.

8/10
