We saw what kind of situation. The one Holly, Walt Jr and Walt were watching at the end of Scarface when the cartel invades his mansion compound. So perhaps Walt is arming himself up for an expected siege type scenario where Mike and his boys come for him much like the Cartel boss Gus set up so his house was raided and he listened to as the other boss died over the phone.

Gus had his rival boss killed and he killed Don Eladio himself. Walt then killed Gus via Tio Salamanca also going boom leaving him as sole survivor.

However the problem is, we still don't know why Gus was so important Don Eladio could not kill him, they alluded to him having some role in a South America coup and having no actual personal history before his emergence in the USA as Gustavo Fring. So how a possible political exile ended up making meth for a German automotive firm under the pretense of being a fried chicken chain still remains a mystery.

Oh shit. A train heist! What more could you ask for? The ending was absolutely fantastic. Never expected Todd to just flat out murder the kid without even a thought. Hardcore! He took the line "Nobody, other than us, can ever know this robbery went down" deadly seriously. Good old Todd doing exactly what he's told.

Until someone of a more practical nature pointed out this was a stupid idea - so they went with the train heist instead.

The film Heat gets a mention - this was on Ch 4 recently. Great movie. And the BB heist has some similarities to something that happens in that movie.

Tarantula boy opening scene was another flashforward? He bottles his spider and hears the train whistle. So rides off to watch the train. Then we go back to the present after the credits.

All the freight cars/tankers they got in for the train shoot were covered in graffiti. The artists who did the graffiti own the intellectual property rights for their work. So the BB team would have had to get permission to use the ''images'', and pay for their use. Gilligan didn't want to pay the little rat bastards(his term) so they were all repainted.

It's not for you to try and impose some arbitrary delay on aired episodes discussion that can be seen out in the open.

Well the water started flowing after the methlamine and Walter was pretty slapdash towards the end showing the methlamine overflowing and water flying out when Todd threw the pipe down, I don't see how they could have precisely balanced out the methlamine loss and the water intake whilst they were in such a rush.

The jenny still running was required by the story. The generator motor running at full speed hid the sound of the boy's 2-stroke bike. Walt shut the pump valve off before Todd threw the hose though.

I'm assuming the boy had just arrived when they spotted him - or have I got that wrong?

I'm sure Walt gave the stop order(to Jesse & Todd) when it was all done correctly. The chemical was gravity fed(1000G). We don't know the pump rate of the pump do we. Walt & Jesse were very pleased when the train moved off. But we shall see. I'll doff the proverbial if you called the water thingy correctly though.
