There was a point towards the end where various ill-ordered words about Deana were emerging from Ashleigh's mouth, in a kind of double-slit experiment gone wrong, and the "psychologist" (= a couple of modules on an OU degree presumably) simply bowed his head and stared at his tragic little bits of card, as if he couldn't go on. He had the look of someone 4-0 down after 89 minutes & trudging back to the centre-spot for another pointless kick-off.

I have no idea what he said or wanted to say. Good value for money CH5? I think not!
Ashleigh doesn't own anything - including intellect.

What programme was the op watching? Ashleigh was on another planet and was incoherent when they managed to force a response out of her. She wasn't even paying attention.

I think what happen is that Ashleigh said, so many I don't knows, or errs, that they spoke over her or interrupted her so we could be put out of our misery waiting for her to give a reply, to be fair if they hadn't she really would have look a more stupid than she is. The only she owns is Luke S balls as he not got any.

Maybe not but surely it is a requirement for ANYONE to actually answer a question without saying erm, erm, erm, I dunno.

Scott was interrupting too. All in all, a very frustrating watch.

Let me make it clear what I think, or try to.

Whenever Alice asked the Psych what his views were one of the twosome interrupted almost as soon as he started talking. Alice did nothing to stop this.

When asked any questions directly Ashleigh whirred with no words....just noises.

The psych wasn't able to get many points across because of Paul and ashleigh....they owned him. Simple.
I am not sure that I agree with the terminology. 'To own' indicates that they were on top of the argument. Not allowing someone to express their opinion is an aggressive act and often employed by people who either have no valid opinion or think that they are always right. They often come a cropper - I give you Shievonne as a case in point.

i've said before, that "psychologist" looks like he wandered in to the studio looking for a hot meal.
