19.2 transponder working ok?

My recently bought Humax Foxsat HD receiver is not showing any signal strength or quality whatsoever for 12633 H 22000 5/6 on Astra 19.2 and therefore cannot find any channels.

It is still shown as working on Lyngsat and Kings of Sat so I am a bit puzzled as to why it is not picking that transponder up. Plus just a few more in the 126XX and onwards range.

Does my dish need moving slightly more, LNB skewing a bit more or is it a transponder issue? Or perhaps something else?

I have just had a quick check and it is still active.
Signal strength is lower than the other TP's on there.
Havent had chance to check with meter yet.

Do you have anything like a cordless phone or a WiFi router nearby? It's possible that they could be interfering with those particular transponders... If you do, try switching them off to see if the signal increases

If cordless phones are causing problems you have a poor installation, either grotty cable or poorly fitted F connectors.

I have spent half of the day cutting out half the cable run by moving the dishes from the bottom of the garden to where the dustbins are stored! This puts the dishes out of site and reduces the length of cable run from around 80 feet to about 40 feet.

Got the dishes up, just moving the cable but started to pour down now! Hopefully with a shorter cable run and less connections reception should improve.

Thank you all for your help.

I have also a 1.1metre dish in southern UK which shows the following:-

12633H SQ 72%
12663H SQ 73%
12670V SQ 70%
12692 H SQ 80%
12699H SQ 70%
12721H SQ 77%
12729V SQ 73%
Whereas 10729V SQ is on 95% as a comparison on Astra 2C... I believe the beam on these transponders is skewed away from the UK. They seem to mainly on Astra 1L.
Not sure if anyone else has any thoughts??

Probably a stupid question but have you opened the menu and switched to “non – Freesat mode” ?

Had any joy? It's been nice and sunny today, so hopefully you've had plenty of chance to have another play...

Had half an hour this morning with the shortened Cable onto 2 dishes/diseqc. Struggled to find signals on both 19.2 and 28.2. Put satfinder on and signal very hit and miss. Might replace whole cable. Dashed off in afternoon to see Batman movie and a meal so not enough time to mess about. More time Sunday!

I got it working again plus a few others that were weak. I had some spare cable but wasn't long enough so I left the original as it was. I just refitted all the connectors after moving the dishes nearer the house so a shorter run. I also swapped dishes so I now have Freesat on the 60cm dish an 19.2 on the 45cm dish. Getting all transponders on 19.2 even on a small dish. Very pleased now!
