Mike (the Situation) and "the robbery"

I'm not proud of it, but I have seen too many episodes of "The Jersey Shore".

Mike, the "Situation" takes pride in his skill at "the robbery" (stealing girlfriend's from other men).

Danica has just given him a challenge he will not refuse & will say *anything* to accomplish his goal.

He won't accept "I have a boyfriend" & bow out as a gentlemen would.

This should be interesting to see who is the biggest "player" - Mike or Danica.

Just out of interest, as I've never seen Jersey Shore.

On that program, does he come across dramatically different to on BB? At the moment he seems like a pretty likeable guy, not quite as dim as he appears, but not far off. Is this new, or is this part of his usual MO? Is this how he normally acts, but we just haven't gotten to the part where he's revealed to be... I dunno, something else?

He's certainly robbed BB of his appearance fee, the boring barsteward.

Yes he is dramatically different - I reckon this is due to him going to rehab but I don't know that for certain.

OP think this is a bit misleading, I watch JS too and 'the robbery' certainly isn't something Mike did regularly. The only robberies I actually remember are Deana taking one of those twins from Mike or maybe Vinnie in Italy, and Vinnie taking the girl his boss came to the bar with.

erm he gets into quite a few arguments on jersey shore, but what we have seen off him in bb, i would say he is being himself. he's after danica and in js he is always after girls aswell.
The only thing lacking is his confidence, in js he is way more confident than he is on bb.

Do you think it could be to do with being out of his comfort zone? Jersey Shore was basically his show, in presumably his own home. This is an altogether different reality show, in a different country, with a somewhat different culture, with a bunch of strangers, without his friends, and without any kind of semi-scripted storylines. I dunno if JS has semi-scripted storylines or not, I'm just going from the little I've witnessed of other things, like that Hills one.

Even though I've never seen it, I honestly feel like I'm reliving the drama and excitement through you guys.

He's being the same as on Jersey Shore but there is the ugly side because he uses women & "steals" his friends girlfriends - just to prove he can. He doesn't have any real friends from the Jersey Shore crowd (& probably not any). He also "kisses & tells" - maliciously so - not to his friends but the person's boyfriend.

She's "thrown down the gauntlet" & given him a challenge he can't refuse. Nothing he says is sincere. He only cares for himself.

As another poster noted (which I didn't see the thread until after I posted this one, or I wouldn't have started a new thread) his motto is "sitch & ditch" He will pursue her for as long as it takes & in this house, he has nothing to distract him. He will pursue her even if it takes years & then will crow about it & be on to the next "challenge".

So 'The Situation' does 'The Robbery'?

When he wakes up in the morning does he do 'The Rising', and when he has his dinner does he do 'The Feasting'?

Hey, I learned the term "the robbery" from Pauly D & Vinnie who complained during several episodes that it is Mike's M.O. & may not accomplish it but always attempts it.

He had to be taken to hospital after purposely banging his head against a brick wall when he completely lost the plot. In Jersey shore he is a right dick. Mind you they all are.

Never watched Jersey S but don't think, from what I've seen on BB that he has anything close to a personality...boring, dull and gormless looking with that baseball cap on and he isn't in the least attractive. What on earth do girls see in him
