Harry is a much loved, excellent ambassador for Britain. The absolute worst I can say about this incident is that it was ill-advised.

Just to clarify - I am not a Royalist, and I would rather not have a Monarchy. And other current and former members of the Royal Family have committed FAR worse transgressions than Harry. But there are so many things to get wound up about if you wany to get angry at the Royals - to me, this is not one of them.

As for the point you make about Beatrice and Eugenie - you are right of course. Blame the Royals, the media whoever for their double standards though.

Perhaps you are right and I am just old fashioned. It seems the media are bending over backwards to excuse this behaviour. Double standards exsist and it is both within the Royal Family and the media. Kate would have been regarded as "not good enough" if she had behaved like this before she married William. No doubt the media would have labelled her common and not with the right breeding etc nonsense. It seems people who associated with the Royals have to behave better than they do!! I still find entertaining naked girls in a hotel is going too far!! I can imagine what went on in that hotel!!

I can't believe the palace has censored these pics and banned the UK press from publishing them. They are everywhere online and most people have probably seen them by now anyway, seems a very heavy handed things to do. Who the hell even gives a shit whether he got naked in a hotel room anyway? I believe it is totally the right thing to do. The story is being reported & talked about so no freedom of speech issue. To have them on tv or on front of newspapers is purient - nothing more. If folks seriously want to look at Harry naked they can do it on-line. I don't believe newspapers/mags should publish piccies of anyone naked in their hotel room.

I can see both sides of this story. On the one side whats the big deal i mean christ, he is in the army and just letting off some steam which is what most army lads do, well single ones anyways. But the other side is he is a member of the royal family!! I just think theres double standards going on when you think back to how sarah furguson was treated..Typical bloody double standards which are rife in this country!

I can see both sides too but Sarah Ferguson was married if estranged from Andrew and with two young children at the time those pics were published.

There isn't really any comparison between Harry's single lad larks and married mum Fergie having her toes sucked by her 'financial advisor'.

I'm not outraged but it is a bit of a stupid thing to do given his position. If he really wants to cavort naked with half a dozen random girls (and I doubt it stopped there tbh) he should choose them and his 'friends' more carefully because there'll always be someone ready to exploit him.

No story at all? Do you know people or do you behave like this? No Harry does not have to be perfect but he has to have some standards and getting drunk and basically having an orgy with your friends,( or do you think they danced naked and then sent the girls home?)
