I'm guessing Jesus's body was found and buried off screen and that's the end of that. It did seem rather abrupt but at the same time, I wish Jesus hadn't been killed off in the first place.

Same here. I really liked that character.

God the fairies are awful everything about them is bad their such pu**ies, the goblin thing, the club, the clothes, the acting and the dialogue are just beyond terrible they should cut their loses and get rid of them.

I hope a lot of people die the show has too many characters and is full of crap storyline's that don't advance the general plot at all and jut take up space.

It's obvious the fairies are going to be the main focus of next season and Claude is one of the strongest characters from that lot too. I don't want him to die.

Funny you should say that - yes, I do, but I hope he doesn't.

I think Bill will 'snap out of it' and kill Salome.
I though Bill was faking it too and he better snap out of it before the next series. I don't want to see Bill and Eric fighting over anything other than Sookie.

I just reread the last book and it occurred to me is that the other thing that is missing this season is a lot of the humour and light hearted bits. There are far less good one liners.

I don't know how Bill is going to snap out of this Lilith obsession he has but he'd better do it soon though.

If he doesn't and that's how it will be for the next series, then I think the writers will be making a bigger mistake than the ones they made this time.

I just hate them all, I was looking forward to the fairies but the way they have been depicted has been abysmal but I accept that some people like them but i's be happy to see them wiped out of the TB universe

Too true.

Hopefully he does come around in the finale.

I am quite liking this new Bill at the moment. I think the show has done a great job in showing someone that was more or less level headed losing the plot and getting power hungry. It happens in real life, so why not with a vampire. Look at Willow in Buffy Season 6... She had been going down a dark path since season 3/4 until it started to get out of hand and then to top it off her lover was shot dead and she went completely against character... Granted that was more of a revenge scenario but I quite like the fact that Bill has gone dark. I like the Fae storyline and I am curious about Warlow... Although the elder died a little too easy for my liking. Russell creeped me out after he drained her. That was a great performance on his part

The Bill/Dark Willow comparison is interesting. You're definitely onto something there.

I like the fairies, Claude mostly though.

Russell can be creepy but perhaps it's time he died now.

Yeah I agree that Russell will have to die because essentially he will always be a major threat. He is old and strong and he can pretty much over power the others. He will never leave Sookie alone. He wants to day walk... although that would be quite an interesting plot line because he would then be a danger 24/7 pretty much. At least humans have the day.
I do want more Fae story lines but maybe more in depth. I think the relationship with them and the Stack houses needs to be explained more and why their families are so close. I would assume there was an incident that mirrors Andy and Merella. Also, what about this half Fae baby? Maybe that will have some sort of part in the finale? Maybe I am just crazy. lol

Andy and Maurella's baby seems like something that will be important in Season 6. Andy's become a more prominent character over the last few seasons.

More depth for the fairies though, yes, I agree with that.

They don't seem to be popular on a lot of places I notice.

So do I was looking forward to them but the way they have depicted them has been crap they basically make paris hilton look classy and the goblin thing is just sooooooo stupid it's like am watching a b movie.

There is no excuse for them being like this as in the books their powerful warriors that you don't want to mess with and in the shoe their pathetic

Honestly I do not know. I think it just kind of was over once the uncle was stabbed. I wished there was more of an explanation, but it was so quick, much like bills random change to being a vampire bible thumper.

I think it was supposed to have released Jesus' spirit from the bad guy's grasp or something. Anyway, I think that story's supposed to be over now. Although, it would be nice to see more of Lafayette and his one-liners again.

True Blood really is my guilty pleasure and I can forgive most of the mistakes that the creators make. Yes, some of the storylines are a bit pointless but they have to give the whole (huge!) cast something to do so they don't jump ship. Some of them do make more sense in the context of the finale (Luna skinwalking as Sam so she can then become Steve in the finale). The ifrit storyline was a bit odd though and Terry seems to have disappeared - as Arlene seems ok (more like her old self - ditto Lafayette) I'm hoping Terry is OK and we're not going to get him moping about all next season.

Some of the character development does seem a tad off - Jessica seems to have become very 'young' again and Jason is now back to vamp hating. Guess it does make sense in the context of their arcs though - jessica being reminded of the religious opression she faced growing up and Jason's issues with his parents death.

No huge shock deaths in the finale - Russell was far less interesting this season and his death seemed a bit rushed. The others seemed more obvious. Glad we still have Nora though (never thought I would have said that a few weeks ago!).

'Bilith' will be interesting next series. I assume Warlow will be introduced to give Bill a chance to see Warlow off and redeem himself? I just hope Warlow isn't Bil.

Like the chance of a deeper Pam / Tara dynamic but hope we keep the same old Pam. Plus hopefully more Sookie next year - she can be a pian but she was missed in places this year!

On review the season was too slow in places and too many longwinded 'lilith' speeches. I think next season will get going quite quickly as Bilith is going to give them all something to do! I don't know who Sookie will pair off with - Eric needs more time with the other characters after spending so much time with Bill this year. Alicide is great but the pack master stuff needs better integrating into the show now. Love Martha now and do hope Luna survives too.

I think next year will be more Bon Temps based. Hope anyway!

Praise Bilith !!!!

I have ruddy loved season 5. I thought the Ifirt thing was a bit blah, but everything was spot on.

Cannot wait for S6:

Andy's babies
Warlow
The Northman Family reunion
....and of course Bilith

All in 10 episodes.

Waiting does, in fact, suck
