Does any one else think that Sam...

...has a gameplan of being inoffensive in the house so as not to get nominated and to stay as long as possible, purely to feed her career as a low rent hack with lots of CBB exclusive insights when she gets out?

I do hope that the HMs don't relax and give anything away to her that they woudln't be happy saying in an interview to The Daily Mail!

I do get the feeling she's going to revel in writing half-truth articles about BB when she leaves the house, and she knows the longer she stays in the more 'research' she can do so yeah she probably does have a gameplan of not rubbing anyone up the wrong way so they don't nominate her.

Well anytime she is shown on the highlights show she is nearly always asking questions.

But I have a feeling she will act all coy and genuine, and then once CBB ends back to the Daily Fail to expose the Celeb housemates!

I suspect Colleen will be number 1 on her notepad for dishing the dirt on

It's a shame because if I didn't think that's what was going on I could quite like her.

She is a journalist. Her forte is writing contraversial articles, not her personality. I think she is simply quite dull compared to some of the others.

I agree. I think she is also keeping quiet to try and lose the vain, ego size of a planet personna she got from that article. I think she is mega biting her tongue to try and get a better rep and not get herself nommed. Not really believing the nicey nicey Samantha.

She is very Anthea Turner, fair enough.

She will write things about her housemates good or bad, depending on what will cause the most outrage

She might call Coleen fat or Julie a bitch from hell, but it will only be to get conversation going and she is nice at heart.
I wouldn't trust her, just because she can smile makes her no sweeter that Jasmin.

She is always thinking/asking/speaking in journalistic mode. I would not like being in the house with her as I can see her writing things to her way of thinking.

This. Plus she's only a journalist because her career as a producer slumped (no idea why though she has said something about her husband's illness and I guess living in France isn't the best way to work on English speaking TV).

The idea that some people can't separate a work persona from the underlying personality is quite bizarre. I'm pretty meticulous in the workplace and known for being hard working with attention to detail but home is a whole different matter. I can waste all day on here and watching crap TV and I only get the hoover out about 4 times a year. I also think Jeffrey Archer and chick lit novels are total shite but if someone offered me good money to write something similar I'd be right there. No doubt that makes me "fake" and "sly". I think it just makes me a professional who knows how to do my job.

She's just not interesting, so even if she has a game plan, it won't work.

It won't keep her in once she's up, but it might stop her from being nominated which is just as good. She must know she isn't going to win this thing, but that's not really the point of her being there.

On normal BB the HMs know nothing of each other when they go into the house, yet on CBB there's a very good chance that most of the people know who the others are by name or have met before.

With that in mind it must be a journalists dream to go into such a situation where you're with the 'celebs' 24/7 for as long as you keep your head down and play nice with the others. Sam must know she has no chance of winning against the well known people so is using her time to gather intel about her housemates.

If Sam doesn't write a single story about her stay in the house I'll eat my hat.

Precisely. She'll have loads of information for her articles if she manages to stay in until the final night or the eviction before that. The housemates should be very cautious around her. The producers probably put her in because they knew she'd end up writing about the housemates once she exited the house, therefore, giving the show more publicity.

Most of the housemates won't nominate the beautiful Goddess because they are afraid of what she will write about them.

I agree. Absolutely no point in her being there. She brings nothing of interest to the show. I can't understand why they put her in, provocative articles or not.

Which means she's virtually safe to get to the final.

It always takes me a while to realise who Sam is, whenever her name is mentioned. Completely forgettable in that house.

She may get a few articles out of it but who's going to care about what Harvey or The Situation thinks about the state of the nation? I think she's in there to counter some of the stuff that came out after that article she wrote.
She certainly seems to be able to talk across the generations in the house, something that most of them seem to have trouble with.
I'm surprising myself by quite liking her at the moment.

She has a crush on The Ocational Table ... But he is just leading her on,cuddling up to her etc.
They both deserve each other, the dastardly game players.

What has she done in the house to make you conclude that?

She is dull as a brick.

BB could borrow that pile of them on display at the Tate and we wouldn't know the difference.
