Boarding schools are schools with a boarding house, some like Eton are boarding only, but others will have day pupils. Both can be described as boarding schools though, even if it isn't compulsory.
This is true, I went to one like this.

Isn't it obvious? He's 25 or older and pretending to be a kid.

Maybe so, but the school is billed as an 'independent school', not a boarding school.

When Lorraine Donnogan built the school, she set it up as an independent. Check wikipedia.

To quote Wiki's profile of Laurie Brett.

On the 15th March 2012, it was announced Brett would be joining the BBC's ongoing drama Waterloo Road as Christine Mulgrew a new English Teacher hired by headmaster Michael Byrne. For the first time in Brett's career she will be able to speak in her native accent as the show is relocating to Scotland where series 8 of the show will now preside.

So far the new WR seems to be a cross between The Secret Life of Tracy Beaker and a dash of Take the High Road.
Maybe its time to quit watching the series and moving onto something else.

'Jane Beale' is trending on Twitter.

Amazingly, lots of people can't understand why she has a Scottish accent, with lots saying her accent is terrible lol.

She can't help it people - that's her real life accent!!!

Why does the school look exactly the same as the old school in the inside?

It just look like there has been a lick of paint, not a move to the other end of the country.

Whatever it is it's certainly unrealistic. It'll be interesting to see what qualifications they will be offering, as some pupils who made the move will be half way through their GCSEs and A levels, so you'd assume they'll have to continue to study an English curriculum, yet most of their intake is from the local Scottish community, so I doubt they'd be doing anything other than the Scotttish qualifications.

I'm sure that new troublemaker with the dyed red hair is Jamie Foreman.

Wouldn't be surprised with BBC cut backs...
