$299 for basic SKU.

$349 and $399 for two other SKUs according to some wholesaler website.

The $299 version probably doesn't come with the power adapter or Wiimote as you already have them with your Wii. 'trollololol'.

I got that wrong, I added $50 in my tired state, $249, $299 and $349 are the prices.

A lot of people have suggested that the $299 probably includes Nintendo Land but really, $50 extra for a small amount of mini-games? I'm not convinced, but I'm not really familiar with US game prices.

I would guess the cheaper one comes with standard controller, mid priced with the tablet controller & higher price with both style controller.

$250 USD translates as £157 if you do a direct conversion, but we won't get it as cheap as we never do. Question is if this is correct and thats the US RRP what will it be in 'Rip Off' Britain. If they can sell it for about £175 that'd be a great price but my head says it'll probably be £200-ish.

The Wii was also $249 and that was sold at £179.

Back then $249 was worth £127.

I reckon anything under £200 would be reasonable considering we never get the same deal as everywhere else thanks to Taxes and generally because companies know they can get away with it.

Remember the US price is excluding VAT and the UK price will include VAT so $250 is actually £189 including VAT.

But ofcoarse people forget that when screaming "Rip Off Britain"

If it's under £200 then it's a must buy for me. Might have to dip into the honeymoon fund

Well the Yanks wouldn't be paying $249 either, as that's without Sales Tax.

I'm just further pointing out to the gentleman that it would be wrong to say $250 = £157, thus we should pay £157 in our shops if all is fair and equal as that price is tax-less too.

Indeed I think the biggest misunderstanding is that everying in the USA is listed without sales tax because it differs state to state where as we are used to prices have VAT added unless buying for business.
