She is reduced to using a three day shag as a way to get the media attention she needs, and so desperately believes she deserves.
I think the Olympics performance, watched by billions of people around the world garnered a fair few headlines...

Oh, and no-one took her seriously as a UN ambassador from the moment she uttered the words "I choose life" when she was supposed to be promoting contraception.
She didn't say that at the official press call.
..A press call that she did not know she would be speaking at as she was told that it was a photo call.
She had a matter of minutes to compile a speech that would go out to the world's press as her first major event since leaving the Spice Girls.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and presume that you are confused rather than deliberately being malicious.

You must be muddled because she was filmed beforehand discussing what to say, and after realising that 'pro life' had a lot of connotations, although it's pretty clear what she meant, contraception (condoms) reduce the risk of HIV and other life threatening STDs, she decided not to.

Try again.

You seem so bitter for some reason. You're not Lianne Morgan by any chance are you? Or Jenny perhaps.

For all the names that you are calling her, and the amount of effort you are putting into proving that she is an awful person, Geri isn't the one sitting at home writing venomous pish about someone that you really don't know.

I would love to know how much time, money and effort you have put into raising awareness and charity work in your life.

Geri has also put an inordinate time into self-promotion (I believe she is now touting a reality show - although Sky are not going ahead with it...imagine being rejected for a "follow Me" show by the station that shows Peter Andre...that's star power for you) - and therefore must accept that not everyone is going to be as enamoured of her as you are.

I have no idea who those people are that you mentioned. I am fairly certain there are more than two people in the world who don't appreciate Ms Halliwell as much as you do.

Strange that you berate me for my opinions on someone who courts publicity (she was at the Olympics as part of the Spice Girls, don't kid yourself that anyone would have wanted just Geri) and yet you are happy to call me names and make judgements about me, knowing nothing about what I do or don't do.

Hypocritical, much?

She isn't looking for a reality show.

Perhaps you're confused again.

She's taking part in Pop Goes The Musical this October for Children in Need.
Appearing in Singin' In The Rain for one night only.
You can buy tickets here

She will also be appearing in a documentary in December along with the other Spice Girls to promote their musical Viva Forever.

Really? Not looking for is not the same as can't get one. According to Sky, Russell is not the only one to have knocked Geri back recently.

You are curiously well informed. am, beginning to think you are her agent. Or the ginger one herself?

Of course the depressing thing is the more we talk about her on DS the more publicity we give her. But even if we turned out back on her and cut off the publcity oxygen supply. She wouldn';t give up,

"loookk at me..."

Yes, really.

Geri is not looking for a reality show.

Those articles are both well out of date and inaccurate.

Geri was in discussions with a number of production companies and networks earlier this year for a new kind of show that combined reality and performance, as a platform for her new music.

However, as I said, this is well out of date and a lot can change in six months. Geri no longer wants this kind of show.

You are wrong on two levels as to her being 'knocked back'.

She was offered something from one of the major UK networks but turned it down as she couldn't commit to some aspects of the contract.

Since then, Geri has been very involved in the Musical, The Olympics, her ongoing work on her new solo material and other projects.

See my above post for the 'reality' projects that Geri will be taking part in this year.

Lastly, Geri has never been 'knocked back' by Russell Brand.

They have been friends for years and are still friends now.

You are entitled to think that Geri is an evil example of human life based on the offensive things that you have seen and read about her in the media - and I am entitled to disagree, from my own experience.

However, where I cannot let things slide is when you attempt to lie, twist out of date information, half truths and gossip to make your point. Play fair or not at all.

I'm dealing in facts.

You really do see that as some kind of positive description of Ginger, shame

Oh, don't worry, Chip. I edited it.

In the book they describe her as a "tubby little singer"...

I prefer 'singer'...

The first true thing you have said on this thread.

I think you are Geris Tzt-Zu and have learned to type a keyboard with your paws.

Seriously i dont come on Geri forums much because im a huge fan and dont want to argue with people. But that being said its amazing what ive read on here. People are so quick to shoot Geri down well Geri is Geri and her success should speak for itself but people just say the same line she cant sing! Get over it, She can sing but shes not the best singer and i love Geri for who she is and being a true artist who unlike alot of todays artists Geri done the heavy lifting in her career.

Didn't Liam Gallagher once call Robbie Williams a fat dancer from Take That?
Yes he did. Although I'm not sure what that has to do with a discussion on Geri Halliwell?

Got to say I didn't realise that Geri still even had fans. When did she last have a hit record? It was at least 12 years ago.

I explained to you earlier that Geri had been in discussions about a new kind of reality show at the start of the year.

She is no longer in discussions to make this kind of show.

Fact.

Do you really think that networks like ITV2 or Sky Living would turn down the opportunity to follow Geri around over the past couple of months as she rehearsed for the Olympics with her bandmates?
Had meetings with Jennifer Saunders, Judy Craymer and other Spice Girls for one of the most anticipated new West End Musicals of the year?
The run up to her X factor appearance?
Or the inside scoop on her 'relationship' with Russell Brand?

Looking at the content of other reality shows on these networks, do you genuinely think that they would have 'knocked' her back?

Geri was looking for something very specific, not a Katie Price/Peter Andre type gig. She couldn't commit to what she was offered.

You can catch Geri in a brand new documentary with the other Spice Girls to help promote Viva Forever! on ITV1 in December.

Also be sure to tune in to Pop Goes The Musical for Children in Need this October to see Geri perform in Singin' In The Rain on the West End for one night only! Tickets are available here.

Geri Halliwell attractive? That's highly debatable.

Why don't you just come and accuse me of "jealousy" though? That's what you really want to say isn't it?
You are jealous!

Always found her to be very embarrassing, even back in her Spice Girls day. Theres just something extremely CRINGEY about her,,,
I actually liked her back in the day, she was much more curvy, god knows why I liked the spice girls.

I did have a major crush on Emma Bunton, thinking back now, I wonder what on earth I was thinking, listening to their music!!!

don't even think i was ten yet but i just remember thinking it...don't know why she is and was ****in ugly.

while all my mates fancied baby spice... i must've clocked on to the "dirty" vibe from young.

Saying the word fact, doesn't make it a fact. I could say she was once suspended from school for being caught in the boiler room with the old caretaker and a bucket of melted chocolate and an adapted mop, FACT!

Does that make it true?

Wow! It never fails to amaze me how much time and effort some people in this forum put into expressing their DISLIKE of someone!? Surely it could be spent doing things that you actually do like (unless describing your dislike of Geri is a pastime?). You hate her, we get it. Honestly, negativity, negativity, negativity...

What a creative mind you have...

I'm just trying to work out what exactly you suspect I am lying about?

You want me to show you proof that Geri is not looking for a reality show?

Well short of giving away confidential information to a public forum, I don't really understand what you expect me to divulge!

But let's try the common sense approach:

The MTV article you posted from April of this year states that:
"the series will focus on the launch of her new beachwear range, as well as giving a glimpse of her home life and her work on the forthcoming Spice Girls musical; Viva Forever."
Firstly, Geri's latest beachwear range has obviously already launched and she is no longer promoting it for the winter..

Secondly, The forthcoming ITV1 documentary featuring all five Spice Girls is part of the promotion for their musical. Do you think ITV1 would be happy for any behind the scenes 'work on the forthcoming musical' to be shown on Sky Living when all five girls have already signed contracts and taken part in filming for this prime-time documentary on that very project?

As for the ridiculous Entertainmentwise article, I can assure you that none of those quotes come from Geri, any of her 'close friends' or team.
I know exactly who supplied those 'insights' (and for any Geri fans who might recognise the tone of voice and suspect a certain 'Miss Jones', you are right to do so.)
A very bitter person indeed who hasn't been close to Geri or anything to do with her career for many years but for whatever reason cannot move on from that time in her life.

You are free to believe whatever you like, however.
I'm telling you the truth in as much detail as I can.

Regardless of how much you type, you are still not offering up any more proof than I had.

But thanks.

I can see that Geri is incredibly important to you. To me, she is just another desperate mediawhore. You have offered nothing more than your opinion, which, whilst interesting, was not enough to change me mind.

I just don't really care enough.

However, you and your friends have negated much of your "Geri the Paragon" argument with your rather rude way of dealing with me. I am not hard of thinking, I am merely disagreeing with your opinion and pointing out your lack of proof.

Being rude isn't really going to change either of those, is it?
