I think they meant up until then no one really knew he went to the station as much as he did. That was probably mostly so fans didn't start showing up all the time though.

Also, apparently about six artist with the same management as the boyband have dropped them because of being too controlling and giving no creative freedom. Recently, even the singing show broke their contract with them, so future contestants won't be managed under them. I think it's pretty interesting that artists that aren't even half as succesful as the boyband have been treated so poorly. I can only imagine how controlling they are over a group that's as succesful as them. Usually I think people who throw around the whole "OMG management is evil and controlling and won't let them be happy or true to themselves!!11! " are a bit crazy, but maybe they're not so far off. I can definitely see them be willing to plant stories to keep the curly one's womanizer buzz going if they're trying to hide that he's not the straightest around.
