Would you mind explaining in what way(s) you found Last Resort to be "stupid?" Far-fetched, absolutely. That is something different than stupid, I would say.

Yeah maybe. We'll just have to see how it goes. As you say, everything about it was far-fetched it's just a matter of whether it's entertainment level is enough for you to forgot the plot holes or if it becomes so bad the only reason to watch it is to see how bad it is.

What do you consider far fetched? That the commander of a US sub might question a suspicious order to kill millions?

That someone higher up the chain of command might be scared if a US sub commander with 18 nukes at his disposal had gone rogue?

That someone in the American government might order the launch of nuclear missiles against Pakistan, the 7th country in the world to develop nuclear missiles of its own?

We saw very little of what happened outside the sub - doesn't seem that far fetched to me so far.

Of course if it turns into a soap opera drama of the week then its going to sink (and the island too)

I've seen five so far; Go On, The Mindy Project, The New Normal, Guys With Kids and Animal Practice. (Ranked in the order stated.) AP being the only really bad one.

Emily Owens MD looks like a total rip-off of Greys meets Scrubs

It's only redeeming factor and the only reason I may give it a chance is that Mamie Gummer is lovely.

Grantland.com has reviewed the upcoming season network by network.

Ctrl + f "fall network", currently they are on the 2nd (http://www.grantland.com/blog/hollyw...dex/_/count/16) and 3rd pages of the hollywood prospectus blog.

Besides, as we all know placeshifting is perfectly legal and acceptable as long as you pay for your subscription and that said sub is an official one at your own address. And can we now get back to topic please?
Yeah, this all sounds much more straightforward then the two seconds it takes to find things online

Actually, I thought it was pretty bad, and the critics in the US agree with me about that.

Maybe I wasn't paying too much attention since I was switching between three channels or just very low expectations but it wasn't as horrible as I thought it would be.
