Winning or losing he's always been British to me.

But if Scotland vote for total independence, then he will be Scottish.

Apparently Ex-president Barack Obama is now allowed to be part of Team GB as he once met someone from Great Britain!

I'm pleased to see that the Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, could make it to the Opening Ceremony.

Have you heard the breaking news? After team GB won every gold on offer on the first day, all their athletes have been suspended for having the wrong motto on their shirts, GB have been told they're now only allowed to enter one athlete to take part in every event, including team events for future olympics

Why have they started these Games so late this time? The whole thing clashes with the start of the football season.

It's good that the Brazilians are highlighting the environment by having the cycle road race do six laps around what's left of the Amazon rain forest........

Over half the athletes entering the marathon have dropped out or fainted due to exhaustion trying to run around the Christ the Redeemer and then back.

Current Olympic champion Stephen Kiprotich could only manage 5 turns .

It was great that Mark Cavendish laid the ghost of 4 years ago to win the road race.

Brazil will be desperate for a good showing here with trying to medals a plenty as they just missed out on winning the World Cup also held in their country after losing a dramatic final to Germany 3-2 after extra time.

I think it's proving to be an important boost to Brazil, what with the devastation of the Zombie Apocalypse of 2014.
