I'm gonna download the demo in a minute, it's getting some fantastic review scores, including a 9/10 at Eurogamer. I know where you're coming from with the whole buying-too-many-games thing, I'll probably pick it up a bit later as I have a bit too much on the menu as it is.

I was only talking about this the other day but Serious Sam 3 passed certification a few days ago so it will finally be coming to XBLA within the next few weeks.

Ive been playing the trial/demo of Expendables 2 and it's quite a fun game. I'm kind of back tracking here to some of the older XBLA games to see if there's some I missed that I may like, expendables being one of them. Good fun with 2 or more players

Mark of the Ninja is great, the demo doesn't appear to be a very good representation of the final product. This is a polished game and the stealth gameplay is about as good as it gets. I love the way you can take your time and be really imaginative with how you progress, its very open-ended and the enemies have surprisingly great AI for a 2D platformer.

Joe Danger 2: The Movie tomorrow! It's been getting some great reviews which is no real surprise I'm sure.

Yep Joe Danger 2 is a must have for me then it'll be Realms of Ancient War (released on the 19th). Good to know you like Mark of the Ninja ( I was dreading you messaging me and telling me it was a crap recommendation lol). I'm really enjoying Expendables 2, the more I play it, the better it becomes

I downloaded Joe Danger 2 and it's an excellent game. Far better than the original game and I highly recommend it

Sounds great! I've been playing the original yesterday and forgot how much fun it could be.

I'll have to look out for this Realms of Ancient War as I know nothing about it.

You play like a boss.

You want 100% combo ranking and pull off as any tricks as you can using double jump and wheelies to link them. It's a bit finger knotting. This is so much better than the first game.

Fire Pro Wrestling is coming on Friday.

Think this was announced years ago so it'll be interesting to finally see it in the flesh. It boasts over 300 unlockable moves as well as over 300 in-game costume items.

Not sure about the Fire Pro game due to the avatars but I liked the Dreamcast Fire Pro. I'll certainly try it anyway. It's all about Jet Set Radio HD on Wednesday for me!

Just a heads up for those looking to download "Realms of War" from XBLA. I downloaded the game this morning and there seems to be a problem with it. Whenever you start a game you get disconnected from Live. At first I thought it may have been for an update but nothing came through, so I went back onto the dashboard and started the game again and the same thing happened.

Post here if you have the same problem or let me know if you don't. Thanks

I played through the first couple of levels of "Realms" and it's not a bad game imo. Would have been better if it was online co-op (like Crimson Alliance). I used the Wizard and his attcks are quite strong and can be used from a distance. Each time a character levels up you can level up one of his many attacks (i chose to max out his fireball attack and its good for taking out all sorts and then his poison attack (which comes in handy if your getting over run by foes). This gives you a chance of getting to a safe area to continue your attack.

I never liked Jet set Radio the first time round, but i thought i'd give the XBLA version a go because my tastes have changed and i still don't like it. The graphics and music are top notch, but the game itself bores me.

Ah well,i'll give Fire pro a go in the morning, although i can't see me purchasing any games soon due to Borerlands 2,Fifa and X-com.

Remember the Great Giana Sisters on C64 and Amiga? well, there's a new HD re-imagining arriving on PC (next month) and XBLA early next year and so far it's looking great. Having played the DS remake a while back I have to say I'm pretty excited for this one.

Check out the trailer

So tomorrow we see Sonic Adventure 2 and NiGHTS Into Dreams HD released for 800 MSP each. As if that wasn't good enough we get the Trails Evolution: Origins Of Pain expansion for 400 MSP too.

Tomorrow is a great day.

NiGHTS and Sonic Adventure 2 now out....downloading both and now have the dilemma of which to play first (I'm leaning towards NiGHTS)

As much as I'm looking forward to playing NiGHTS, I do reckon the press are going to be negative about it. It was a game of its time and if you played it now for the first time I'm not sure how many people would 'get' it. In an era of cinematics, 15 hour campaigns and online multiplayer, NiGHTS sits out of place. Those who have played it will know it is incredibly deep but surface wise you can be done with it in a couple of hours. Hope people give it a chance if they decide to take the plunge, it's such a rewarding experience.

NiGHTS is a misunderstood game I agree, no doubt sites like Gamespot will give it a low score but who cares what they think. We know the game is legit.

It's kinda crazy to think the HD remake we've been crying out for has finally arrived. Sega have done a real nice job with this package. The graphics look great and making the transition from the Saturn 3D controller to the 360 controller feels very natural (same thing with Sonic Adventure 2 and the DC pad) and the sound quality is good which just as well since it features some of the best video game music ever.

My only complaint would lie with the Sega Saturn mode, had they of included an option for scanlines instead of a blur filter it could of looked a lot more like the original, same thing with the frame rate it's far too smooth compared to the Saturn game but these are such minor quibbles, I can't complain for the price.

I agree - I feel this version compliments my Saturn version (which I was still playing last week) rather than succeeds it.
