Alas I cannot claim the idea as mine, someone suggested photographing the schedule on the Humax HDR Fox T2 forums somewhere.

I used to do that, especially for SKY Box programming and preferences, then worked out it was easier to movie record continuously on my stills camera as I scrolled though all the EPG, recorded programmes list and preferences.

Then I just screen grab as I replay (scroll) the video on the computer.

And keep the grabs just in case the box dies.

Obviously, I do the same for my Freeview PVR's, and all my TV's too.

TBA2 has an MHEG

Big Deal
Tune In at 3am
follow us on twitter.com/bigdeallive

Back to LCN squatting again then, and by the way the Twitter account hasn't been used since Nov 2009, what a joke!

EDIT: I've just been watching Big Deal on 32 for 10 minutes, it cut off at about 17:55 and an MHEG came up. Don't know if it's a test.

3-5am - ie, back to where it has been residing pre-DSO.

"Big Deal is moving, please rescan."

Not sure why that means it is off-air already though, unless Al Jazeera has been configured for 24 hours now for uninterrupted broadcast tomorrow.

Why does Al Jazeera 6-8's MHEG say "coming soon" on it?

And as the Adult section is moving on 17th October to 171 - 198, what will happen to the currently blank 193 and 194
Home is on for one hour a week on Fridays between 11am and noon.

194 is not blank, it produces a Mheg caption.

TBA1 is carrying EPG data showing a 1700-2300 programme time for yet another teleshopping channel that looks suspiciously like Argos TV.

Many a true word etc. I don't often watch Freeview (I stick to FreeSat), but last night I watched the news[aper review on Sky News. Christ almighty, it was like looking through that ribbed glass you used to get on pub doors!
Freeview is a disgrace, an abortion.

'teleshambles'

Like 'teleshopping', and with as much likelihood of getting what you want.

Whilst I wouldn't use quite the same language, Andy2, l do know what you mean because there is a noticeable difference between Freesat and Freeview picture quality these days.

I prefer to watch channels on Freesat when I can but there are times when l have no choice but to watch Freeview, e.g. for Quest, Yesterday, etc. Switching from Freeview to Freesat is almost like a "halfway-HD" experience if you see what l mean.

G.O.L.D., Home and TOPUP Anytime MHEGs are carrying details of the changes to UKTV channels.

Could it also be down to the boxes ?

My Freeview HD boxes are on a par with SKY+HD, on both HD & SD Channels, (HDMI) some channels noticeable better, my Freeview SD boxes are obviously lower quality. (SCART)

I'm on Freeview Lite from Winter Hill.

You obviously haven't retuned in recent weeks - AJ has already moved to 83, with a morning service on 84. Your box/TV still has the main service on 89 - if you retuned now (before the main event later) it would be moved to 83.

I think they've just said 'by lunchtime', which will probably mean sometime later this morning.

So you're NOT on Winter Hill then

It would make more sense to say what you are on, rather than what you're not

What time today does this happen? I did a retune of my Freeview box this morning, and there were no changes.
