Doesn't matter. When I had it years ago, I just went to the crown as it was too difficult to do it myself all the way.

Depends how much easy maintenance matters. An authentic mohawk goes all the way down the back. But a fohawk is just inspired by it so it can be any variation you want really. Generally they tend to be just spiked at the top because its more practical for everyday
