Actually really like this. Last year's John Lewis ad was naff and quite possible the year before that too (only because of how Mumford and Goulding simplified a once-beautiful song), but this is really nice. I had doubts over Paloma lately because her second album was a bit naff due to it being gratuitously over-sung, but this cover shows a vulnerability we've not seen much before.

I thought it sounded like her too, but wasn't completely sure. I like it, but its not a patch on the INXS original.

Just download the original by INXS. It's a far superior version actually sung with some emotion. I I have nothing against Paloma Faith but her version is pretty limp.

Paloma has confirmed this is her third single from an upcoming re-package of Fall To Grace which is released on the 23rd october

Why the hell are they re-release Fall to grace so soon? It's done very well and hasn't even been out 6 months.

I had a funny feeling there would be a re-release, just not so soon. However this is an exception I will make purely because I love her music and her voice (and her!). I hope it has more than 5 songs on it...

Pre-ordered this a couple of days ago, it now says that the song is expected 21st September. So tomorrow hopefully!

I love the JL advert too.

The single still shows up in my pre orders, with an expected release date of 21/09 - but I cant find the song by searching for it on iTunes.
