Labour women gets cut off on Sky News by Adam Boulton as she try's to turn it in to talk about the cuts, class envy and just the standard lefty attitude that people of their background don't deserve to rule.

Adam Boulton kept saying, "but that's not the question I asked you", she reply's, "then why did you have me on" and he says "to discuss the actual incident were talking about". In the end they just turend off the sound on Amanda from Bristol and switched to Isabel Oakeshott. I bet Ed Millband was impressed by her performance.

I disagree.

If the policeman makes a complaint and verifies the language the newspaper report claims he used then maybe Cameron could have it investigated but otherwise I don't see how Cameron can sack him because of a report written in a newspaper,

BIB - therein lies the problem. Too many people think they can do what they want irrespective of the law. They are usually the ones to shout first and loudest when something goes against them for the law to intervene. Ironic isn't it ....

The problem is the Met Police have a bad reputation not only from the public's point of view but also from other Police forces. I know a couple of people who are Police in neighbouring forces outside the capital - both have said that the Met "behave like animals". One even said he can understand why the riots kicked off but did not condolen them occurring.

It amazes me the length people will go to on here to avoid saying.

"The MP of the party I support is a pr*ck"

Now we are finding issues with the met..........amazing.

What is amazing is some are gullible enough to take the newspaper report as gospel without any evidence.

I mean newspapers have never told falsehoods or exaggerated before have they .......................

It is amusing where some people will treat a newspaper as being "garbage" but as soon as it prints something that they like or agree with it becomes an impeachable organ of truth.

Perhaps he is telling the truth when he says he didn't swear? - if so then the Policeman would have nothing to arrest him for.

I just had to laugh at the police federation who are calling for Mitchell to resign. I mean the police are always the first to offer to resign aren't they oh and don't mention Hillsborough.

"Learn your place" - Was the copper too lazy to do his job and open the gate then?

"You don't run the Government" is probably no worse than "Don't forget who pays your bl**dy wages?"

I like the basket on the front of his bike, it looks like he ought to be delivering stuff.

... and you believe the media?

After all, they never manipulate, or invent, the truth to suit their aims.

If it had been a council worker on the gate, who didn't open the gate, people would probably be quick enough to call him a Jobsworth.

Though this is a valid point it is also an argument that can be used with regards to every news story ever.

Therefore I take it all the new stories about Gordon Browns temper are now invalid in arguments?

Its an easy way to avoid being criticial, deny it happened.

Well it looks like this will run for some time.

Just watched the news

1. The policeman has confirmed the Sun's report
2. Yvette Cooper has been stirring the pot
3. Paul McKeever is using the incident as an excuse to attack reforms of the police

Apparently there are several cameras trained on the spot of the incident - wonder if anyone will look at the footage, and there was at least one tourist present when it happened

I see no reason why we should disagree on this one. The fact that the police covered up their mistakes and misjudgement and tried to blame others for the lives lost at Hillsborough is totally unacceptable regardless of political views.

If we cannot have trust in those we give power to police us, we are in trouble.

That phrase always cracks me up. It should be followed by:

Jesus wept. The logic of a Tory.

Hillsborough was in 1989, the vast majority of serving officers at that time will be retired, possibly even dead.

Don't try and justify yourself Wallster, people like you make me sick to my stomach. All moral high ground, when it comes to people you consider inferior to you, then come out with sh**e like that.
Why would I need to justify myself to someone as arrogant and rude as you?

Well, there's a surprise. "Stirring" seems to be her entire job description.

I'm just amazed Keith Vaz hasn't yet forced himself in front of a camera to inform the world of his opinion.
