My husband does no housework at all and never has , but he does maintain the home and garden and all the DIY which he's excellent at. I take care of the domestic stuff because I'm excellent at that !

Almost never and my flat is very clean. I have the I-Robot vacuum cleaner, a robotic mop cleaner, a dishwasher.
So I almost never do housework. I wonder if there is a robot for cleaning windows though... |

Me. And I get them in as I'm first back from work.
I put our neighbour's outside their door for them too but, if Mrs Neighbour gets home before Mr, she will climb over the bins to get in. No way is she going to move them - that's his job and that's that. |

Although my OH does the majority of the cleaning, he seems to think the oven tins are self cleaning and the loo is powered by an eternal shower of bleach.
Oh yeah, and he leaves out of date food in the fridge, actually scrap that... he takes it out, sees it's out of date and then puts it back! |

He, however, is a dab hand with the Jif and with cleaning the windows. I also get them in because I'm home first and if I don't then they can end up half way up the road because the neighbours kids think it's a joke. |

My husband does all the cooking. That's probably because he's tasted my cooking! Fortunately, he enjoys it, and he's a very good at it. The rest of the stuff we pretty much do equally, but I do the cleaning up in the kitchen, which is fair, seeing as he has cooked the food.
He always makes me a coffee when I get up at the weekend, as I usually get up later than him. |

My OH does about 95% of the housework - he's self employed spends more time at home than I do and is better at it

We normally share chores overall, hubby does more cooking and gardening, I do more cleaning/recycling and ironing, and we share shopping. Only variation in this is if one of us is working shorter hours, or ill or whatever. Has worked a treat for 28 years of marriage.

My OH does virtually all of the housework, iron his own clothes and does most of his own washing. I cook, shop, do the finances and generally organise stuff.
I freely admit I'm quite lazy and can muck about doing nothing constructive for hours whereas he gets bored with TV and can't be doing with technology so we're both happy with the arrangement. To be honest when he goes away for a few days I keep the house spotless with very little effort so I can only conclude he's the one that makes the most mess!

Before I broke my ankle he did the housework a handfull of times and I nagged about the dirty dishes everyday. In the past 8 weeks he's had to do everything as I was bed bound completely until 2 weeks ago, there were lots of temper tantrums from him but he settled down after a while. Apparently when I'm fully able I owe him 3 months of cooking and cleaning as he's done it all, until I pointed out that wouldn't it be a better deal to share the housework instead of one person being overwhelmed by it instead. He's slowly (grudgingly) coming around to that idea.
