Oh my god they've been discovered! Those were the stills from the pilot episode of the show they asked me to film: "Hammy Who: the exciting adventures of a time traveling hamster" but the powers that be said they didn't like it and decided to go with a grumpy old man instead and call him "Doctor". I told them it would never last, and I'll be right, just you wait and see!

‎"Oh, that actress you like...?"
"Hm?"
"The one from... Urhm... she was in one of the soaps.."
"Mmm?"
"Dark hair, bonny girl..."
"Yes...?"
"She's in town on Saturday for.."
"WHO IS IT?!"

Nope. That conversation did not end the way I was hoping. I don't care about filming being on-going, that was still a ridiculous and anti-climactic tease.

With the amount of unnecessary hot air being generated about Jimmy Saville's private life, I'm not surprised the Arctic is melting!

We need to film your pilot episode and send it too the BBC. THEN they will see how wrong they were to turn you down!!

So much for my mum saying "It's much too far away to affect you" when I mentioned that Pakistan was going to be a smoking wreck.

I understand Robert Mugabe finally returned it to the BBC. Bob Monkhouse had lent him it. Ian Levine found the correspondence whilst itemising the Monkhouses collection, flew to Zimbabwe and pleaded with Robert personally. Mugabe offered him a choice of "Hammy Who" or Tenth Planet episode four. Ian chose....wisely. (said in ancient Knight bloke from The Last Crusade voice).

Bob Monkhouse knew Robert Mugabe?

Oh yes. Bob Monkhouse was a CIA agent and was instrumental in setting Mugabe up. It was he who arranged for all those episodes of Doctor Who to be shipped to Zimbabwe as part of the long term plot to sweeten them up. Somehow Monkhouses personal illicit recording of Hammy Who got in there too.

Have you met my friend Zadzoid? He's part of the secret lizard man government (codename foilhat) and told me all about it.

My previously reported driving lesson was a great success

I also had an epiphany that DS needs a Jenna-Louise Coleman appreciation thread for me to throw all of my musings in to instead of clogging up every other thread.

At least your JLC posts are not gratuitous or offensive. In any case, it's not as if you go on about it much. I doubt anyone's noticed.

And nice to see you survived your brave daredevilry in a motor car. ("When he's not in traction, he's in action!").

Something tells me I'll still need one. With only one episode of the Ponds remaining, and Jenna on TV twice (twice!) next week - where will all the posts go?!

Right you are. When I said "don't go on about it much" and "nobody's noticed", I meant the opposite. . I saw her on a trailer for that very fruity looking drama. Something about double decker buses?

Same old, same old.

**snoggs Hammy for being lovely, as she knows she should have used the autoserve**

The autoserve is just not as lovely as you.

I enjoyed the last episode!! I'm really starting to like Amy, damned.

How was your weekend?
