I want more co-op missions or better still an option to play the main campaign in co-op. The 3 missions on GTA4 were fun and the co-op in Red Dead was pretty awesome with the activities on the free-roam map so I hope Rockstar step up their game further with co-op in GTA5.

As for actual multiplayer, past the races I found the rest rather dull in GTA4.

I'm surprised anyone is still holding out for a release before around April/May next year. It would have been amazing if R* dropped this huge bomb and suddenly announced that it was out this year, but people were expecting that back when the teaser launched nearly a year back.

The fact we have had promo images rather than more trailers and gameplay videos is telling that GTA V at the earliest will be released in the standard R* slot.

Not going to happen...

Unless you mean on new consoles in addition to current consoles in which case it possible.

GTAV will be on this generation of systems.

Talking of races, it's really annoying on GTA4 when you keep getting killed repeatedly by another player when you respawn. Hopefully they will find a way to stop that in GTA5.

just been replaying iv, and although it's a little dull (DLC aside) the city itself really is an achievement...if only there was an in-car view that didn't make me seasick

For me GTA 4 has is not going to age good.

Played it today after like a year and I just found it average, i remember playing GTA 4 for hours on end when i got it but now it just feels a bit 'meh'.

I hope GTA 5 they improve from GTA 4 and not just the same stye & better graphics.

I want classic memorable missions, Funny characters and GREAT radio stations.

I've yet to finish San Andreas (no spoilers please!).....I downloaded it a few months back and was thoroughly enjoying it again (just goes to show that graphics really aren't the most important thing!).....until the savegame file corrupted....or at least I think it has anyway.

Before I restart the game, is there anything else I need to do to activate the "Breaking The Bank At Caligula's" mission?

I've got the keycard off Millie, but the icon to start the heist hasn't appeared and I've tried waiting a bit, but still no mission icons available.....for anything.

I'm a loooong way into the game, so any clues before I restart?

The two missions you have to have done are Saint Mark's Bistro & Up, Up & Away - have you definitely done both of those? If yes, try standing around for a while, it comes in on your mobile and you can't take calls in a car. Might not be helpful but if you've done those things you might have a buggy problem

I've done Up, Up & Away, but can't remember doing Saint Mark's Bistro.

Thanks for the info, I'll check when I get home.

In that mission you would have visited a small part of the GTA III version of Libery City.

San Andreas is the game I would love to play on the PS3. It is a shame that Sony did not make the PS3 Slim backwards compatible, I am not worried about fancy HD graphics, I know it is an older game, it would just be good to be able to play the game.

I loved GTA 4 and cannot wait for 5, but it will soon come round.

Just to say that I hadn't done Saint Mark's Bistro....I almost restarted the game though 'cos the mission icon definitely wasn't there! I roamed the major bits in each suburb one last time before restarting and, although no mission icon was visible, I found a red circle available at the Verdant Meadows abandoned airfield to activate "Green Goo".

Dude, get a new PC - GTAIV was 2008. Four years in PC terms is a lifetime, especially for gaming!

I always find that GTA games age badly there's not one I can think of that has. GTA 5 has the pontential to blow everything out of the water.

My PC runs Skyrim maxed so I wont be doing that lol

GTA 4 was allways known for it, that's what I don't understand why my pc sucked with it
Did you know about this cool site it tells you how smooth a game will run on your PC http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/intro.aspx even that says GTA 4 passes all maxed, I can confirm it's totally safe to.

I'm going to install it again and have a fiddle with it although my gamepad just broke.

Only joking!

Maybe GTAIV was written badly for the PC or was much more resource-heavy than Skyrim? I'm not a code monkey so not really sure why GTA won't run on full for you.

Yes it was a bad port, I'll be happy if I can just run it to be honest low settings on a nice resolution looks fine these days

Unless hoping it's a better port.

That's the sad thing about PC gaming now - it used to be games like Half-Life, COD, Skyrim, etc. that would port across to consoles. Now it's the other way round.

I used to LOVE PC gaming, but I had to replace my rig with a console after our spare room became my son's bedroom! I've always thought about building a rig again, but probably not much point, given that most games now are available on both PCs and consoles.

Hopefully custom soundtracks will make it to the PS3 version of GTA V.

I know you can't say much, but can you say anything more than you have?

My heart is actually beating faster after your post now. I am looking forward to this game so so much it's unreal.
