I agree, liked the character Sophie to begin with, but shes just became increasingly annoying now, as each episode goes on.

Having left after the introduction of Sophie, I decided I give the finale a go to see if it was just a temporary issue. I loved it, it was as good as the earlier episodes of the season. Have they always used Sophie this little, or is she normally a bit more in the forefront?

I love this show! I like the character Sophie, but I do think they could use her a bit less.

Looking forward to the repeats! With the first 5-7 episodes, I used to watch them like 3 times a week, on Thursday, Sunday and Wednesday! Then I couldn't find the time and only managed to watch once a week. Call me sad, but when I love a show, I have to watch each episode lots of times to appreciate it fully!

Sad that the season is ending soon. I always prefer first seasons to the seco nd. I just have a bad feeling that they'll change too much, I dont' like change!

Next week's finale has some of the Brokeback-iest moments ever.

Maxoline is the new Faberry.

I actually there was a lot more of Sophie in Thur night's ep than usual. Normally she's in it only for a short while but imo she featured quite a lot in that episode. I do like her and she can be funny, especially when she's acting alongside Oleg but i only like her in small doses. Despite that it was a great episode, some hilarious lines and nice to see each of the cast being used more regularly esp. Han and Earl who recently we've seen very little of. I'll be sad when it ends next week.

Thanks.

It's already out on DVD and Blu Ray in the US. It will NOT recieve a Blu Ray release in the UK, but according to Amazon it's region free.

Amazon US (Appears to be the cheapest site, but remember to add shipping to the cost): http://www.amazon.com/Broke-Girls-Co...dp/B0053O8ARI/
Amazon UK Import: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B...F8&me=&seller=

Why won't it receive a Blu-ray release in the UK?

Cos Warner Brothers are lazy bastards....

They've already classified the show (BBFC: 15 for strong sex references, frequent crude innuendo, and moderate sex references, drug references, language, inuendo, and prescriptive drug references - depending on the episode of course), the BD is region free, literally they just need to stick a BBFC classification logo and descriptor on the packaging, change the copyright message on the back and bob's your uncle.

She's used about the same as the other minor characters. I think without her, they'd have run out of things to do with Oleg. Thinking about it, she interacts more with the other minor characters then they do with each other. Generally, Oleg, Han and Earl talk with the two stars but not much with each other.

I saw the Blu-Ray release in HMV today, so that's not true.

Was it a UK HMV? Cos there's no way in hell C4 would've let Warner release it before they'd finished showing it, and it's not listed on Amazon or HMV.com....

No worries, I've done that before, sorry if I came off threatening/aggressively, I was confused and I often have trouble articulating myself

Awww sad that it's ended! I really enjoyed the show, it had a finale feel to it. At the end I was wanting more! Will watch the gazillion repeats on E4 now!

Is there any reason this last episode is taking sooooo long to appear on 4od to watch... it's usually up not that long after it's aired. 3 days and still not up.

I liked the last episode of the season, however it just didn't feel like a season finale episode to me. There didn't seem to be like any kind of conclusion to the season. They met Martha Stewart and it just ended. There could have been another 10 episodes after that episode and no one would have been the wiser that it was the season finale. So i'm disappointed in that regard but it was a pretty enjoyable episode all round and i'm definetely sticking around for season 2.

There was one amazing thing about that episode - Kat Denning's breasts! Massive tits! What a dress, what a cleavage!

I think it was not about the season ending, but setting up the next one, with Martha's backing they might finally break the $1000 mark lol

I agree about Martha's backing helping them. Lets face it, they havnt made a huge amount so far, and if the show gets cancelled before they get to open their own cupcake shop, I would be disappointed. Whenever it comes, it would be a huge thing for a finale for us to see them opening their own shop. Got to say, loving this show so so much. And its still good.

It's guaranteed at least 2 more seasons, as it already has a syndication deal, and you need at least 4 seasons for syndication...

The only problem i see coming for this is...... If they are to get the business off the ground, they are going to have to increase production, and that surely means Max cannot continue to work at the diner, so then what happens to Han and Earl?

It's a sitcom, it's likely they'll ignore that plot hole and have her do both anyway, or have her do both and point out the plot hole.... Either way I doubt they'll ditch the diner
