EE's Phil. But sadly, he always quickly gets the upper hand and goes back to being a bullying scumbag, who everyone must be afraid of

Always. Emily Bishop, Eastenders Shirley and Simon The Brat. They should do one of those "Later" episodes like they do with Hollyoaks where I could watch them being tortured and abused. However, we would, of course, get all the wet liberal do gooders on here complaining.

Sometimes yeah, I love a good villain. My favourite characters in Disney films were always the baddies as they are the most interesting but like I said they have to be decent and it's different if I love the 'good' character, I generally don't want them to come to any harm. Other characters not bothered.

Depends on the character. We can take a current Hollyoaks storyline for example. A lot of people want Walker to make Brendan suffer, while others want Walker to be destroyed by Brendan. There's a great dynamic in the story because there's no clear good guy. I love both characters but I want Walker to make Brendan suffer because to me, Walker is doing it for the right reasons but going about it the wrong way.

I would be happy to appear in a one off episode as the torturer. I would do it for free and it would be realistic as I would enjoy it. What is more, my pulse would never get above 70.

I'm not one for seeing any character really suffer but I'm more ok with that then them dying!!
CS Kirsty Tracey EE Derek Phil Kat (because she can't keep her legs closed) ED MARLON LAUREL Charity Chas (for being a hyprocrite towards Carl for him cheating on her) Cain And all the villagers who showed no compassion towards Ashley until he became a down and out. HO Walker (for letting Lynsey died) Maddie Sinead Ruby Phoebe (but only a little bit for ruining George's new relationship) Doug (for turning gay after a hug and saying he loved Jenny but wasn't in love with her even though he wanted to kill himself over her death!!) |

If the acting is good, I like seeing characters display emotions which are usually when they are suffering.

Depends on the extent. Not to the extent of seeing a characters head put in a vice like in Casino, but suffer from the result of their actions. i.e. Phil should suffer in jail after dealing in cut and shuts which killed Kevin.

If it's a character/actor that I'm a fan of, and their suffering is a major storyline that brings the limelight to said character/actor then great. For example Corrie's rape storyline (which was initially extremely well portrayed) brought my favourite actress/character in the show to the forefront which I was glad of. At the same time I was obviously rooting for her to come through the ordeal a stronger person (which I'm still waiting for thanks to her inexplicable devotion to pathetic Peter).
Then there's characters like Phil Mitchell, who I want to see suffer in a big way with a big dose of karmic justice. The character deserves it, and it will prove interesting to see him completely alone and destroyed. |

Eastenders
Phil: I want Phil to suffer public condemnation. He let Jay take all the blame while he wallows in self pity and considers himself the victim. Max and Tanya: They have broken the hearts and destroyed the lives of many people who trusted them, including their own children. What is worse is that they don't care. People who get in their way are little more than collateral damage. There has been no consequences for anything they've done and it's time that there was. I wish Rachel, Greg and Vanessa could team up against them. |
