Better to have it now rather than two weeks down the line, I suppose.

Just remember who it was championing Louis (*cough* me *cough*) when most people wanted Nicky.

(*runs away from thread before anyone can challenge me over this......*)

Hahaa, ok I admit I was wanting Nicky in the beginning but now I am VERY glad that she got Louis! She is the best partner for him and will know the best way to use his skills, plus she will maybe learn a few tricks from him too for herself

Good Morning World!!!

Except it isnt good at all!! Its horrible out there. This is the start of what us Sailor-type people call "the equinoctial gales" - and they seem to have started pretty well bang on time.

So don't go out of the house, unless wearing a wet-suit, and with rocks in your pocket to stop you blowing away. You may look odd in school/work/college, but at least you'll be there, and not being rescued from a tree like a drowned cat.

On the dance front - coming up next month:

http://www.royalalberthall.com/ticke...s/default.aspx

For Jimi and Louis, I recommend Beechams, with hot honey/lemon/whisky.

Enjoy your day - supposing you can stay warm and dry.

I see the SCD Live tour dates for Nottingham were wrong and the tour now finishes in February. I'm thinking that article where Flavia mentioned MT after the SCD tour might really mean there is a possibility of them being on it next year. It would be good to see them on that again and they could fit it in this time with the dates given.

Not loving that new promo pic of Flav with Louis.... I'd sack the Strictly photographer for some of those photos actually! So many of them are very unflattering!

I never really like those "posed" shots anyway.

The action ones we get once the real dancing starts are SO much better.

(P.S. Have you seen that latest twitter photo from the BBC? It made me laugh, but makes me wonder who is going to need the ambulance first!)

Hope no one is flooded out. Its not looking good up north.

Its only Tuesday, as well!!!

Re the posed pics - always look airbrushed to the point of idiocy!!!

Enjoy your day!

Love the pic on the Radio Times cover and great little video too with Louis and Flav trying out lots of lifts (Links on Flav/Louis thread)

I wish they hadn't ended up with probably the worst looking one as their official pic!

I heard Louis on Radio One this morning and the breakfast show is going to be supporting them every week which should be great I'm sure Nick said something about calling them each week for updates (or something) .... Should be good though.

Good Morning out there??

Has the rain stopped where you are?? Its still pouring down here.

Luckily, we are too high up to be flooded

At least they will be practicing/rehearsing indoors. NOT a day for doing anything outside, I think.

So enjoy tyour day, assuming you can stay dry and unflooded

Stopped raining here thank goodness and turned out quite a nice afternoon although a bit cold!

Swithering over booking SCD tour tickets for next year as I really think there is a good chance Vincent & Flavia might be on it and I'd hate to miss out but not too bothered about going if they aren't on it.

So - another busy day on the thread yesterday. (lol)

Actually its probably time to move across to the F&L thread for the duration.

So a bit of cross-posting around, I think.

Bad news about Aliona. I too wonder who they will get in to replace her for the first couple of weeks.

Weatherwise it is supposed to be a bit better later today (still a few showers around today) and even better then that tomorrow.

It's the weekend too, or course!!

Enjoy your day;

JJ

PS I've got toothache!! (an abscess)

Got a tour ticket booked now so I hope we hear soon if Flav will be doing it. I don't think I will bother booking any more though and just make do with the one whether her and V are doing it or not..... although I could change my mind on that one when we find out for definite (at which time the tickets will be sold out, lol)

Either way I think I am just going to make do with the one. I'd be more tempted if they were here for a week or so but when I go to the SCD tour two days in a row I get bored of the same judges talk especially when we already know from other reports before exactly what they will be saying

Intrigued by this tweet from AdamSpiegel about Midnight Tango rehearsals today for the BBC..... Hope this means they might be getting the chance to do something on Strictly!

Today some of the dancers from @VFMidnightTango are rehearsing with @VincentFlavia for the BBC. Wishing them all a productive day!

Oh, that sounds interesting, Dilly.

Seems as though we may have extra treats to look forward to on Strictly this year.

Edit: and what brilliant extra publicity for the show, too, if it is true.

I KNOW!!... Although chances are they wouldn't be allowed to say that it was from their Midnight Tango show but it would still be great to see a routine from it. Last year when Tango Siempre were there playing the music for their AT they weren't introduced so it would probably just be classed as a V&F 'group dance' or something, lol.

I really hope it is for SCD though.... OR something else BIG for the BBC
