Scoring change on 'DWTS'

The DWTS twitter account has tweeted that the judges will now have 'half-paddles' in addition to the 1-10.

So, they can score with .5s.

I'm not sure what I think, how about you?

It makes sense for an All-Stars series, because you can still flatter the stronger field by giving them "high" scores, whilst still differentiating between them. With a normal series I can see it being more fiddly.

Just watched and the scoring was much more in line with SCD and much lower than the usual DWS.
