Worst remake?
I hereby nominate as the absolute worst remake of all time, and there are some very bad ones, the Christian remake of Vanishing Point.
I wonder if anyone else has a candidate for the title. |

John Carpenter's The Thing is usually held up as a successful, superior remake and I agree.

The Amityville Horror
Not sure how the movie panned out as I turned it off after about 10 minutes. |

I did quite enjoy the Friday 13th remake though; at least that was in the same spirit of the original films with plenty of t&a and gore

Its a shame about Nightmare on elm Street because Jackie Earle Haley had a really good stab at the part.

The Wicker Man
but saying that, The Passion Of The Christ was nowhere near as funny as the original Life Of Brian! |

I'd say the Karate Kid remake is ok, Ocean's 11 is probably the best remake of all time in my opinion. |

halloween was my worst remake
the hitcher was also shite! my favourite remake has to be the batmans - possibly because christian bale has been the best batman in my eyes. I am keen to see the red dawn remake though when its released. and im going to assume the dirty dancing and point break remakes are gunna suck! |
