Same. If he goes over the top with attempts at humour or flamboyance where the show doesn't call for it it just won't work.
Yes - Carlos is a role that calls for "Comedic Restraint". Teddy was very good at it. "Less is More" in the role - although MrsJJ and I are sure he will put his own take on it!!
You can vote for Midnight Tango in the Whats On Stage awards if you like ....
I have nominated them in the 'Best Regional Production' 'Best West End Show' and 'Best Choreographer' categories. I'm not sure what other ones they would be eligible for(?)
Time Out have a special offer on tickets at the Phoenix Theatre on selected dates until Tuesday 19 February: Upper Circle tickets for just £20 or Top-price seats for £35 instead of £55.
Oooh oooh ooh they're coming to Leeds Grand ooh ooh ooh just after my birthday ooh ooh ooh! :D
*makes note to request tickets as birthday present*
I was just about to say I may go to the Manchester venue on my birthday when I saw your post. It'll be easier and nearer to go to Leeds just after my birthday - what date's yours? Mine's the 25th
Half a million people have gone to see the show which is pretty good
That's just consistent. It didn't say they were selling out every show.
(Since the show first began in April 2011, it has sold nearly 500,000 tickets throughout the UK and Ireland, meaning almost half a million people to date have been seduced by Vincent and Flavia’s hot and sensual show)

I didn't say anything about them selling out every show so I don't know what you mean(?)
Looks like a few (or all) of the SCD tour people are going to see Midnight Tango on their night off on Monday. I've seen a few tweets about it and looks like James and Ola are going AGAIN

They did love it last year though, I remember James saying it was the best dance show he had ever seen :D
I like James and Ola they seem to have a genuine friendship with Vincent and Flavia.
I know James mouths off and can be a right idiot at times but he's generally seems supportive of his fellow pros

He'll probably add his own touch to the role but I'm sure the director will tell him to rein it in a bit - at least that's what I hope
I would be interested to see him in the role but I'm not sure if I can get to any of the Westend dates.

I'm going! Bought tickets to take my mum for Christmas, then found out she is on holiday when it is on, so will have to take someone else instead!
I'm dragging my husband along on 19th February.
Me too. Saw it last year, bet it's even better now but can't go this time.

It would be good to read some new reviews if anyone going wants to write a little report afterwards
