Brian Conley on Daybreak:
http://www.mirror.co.uk/3am/tv-film-...onleys-1451974 Sub-headline "He explained that he's stopped taking them after 15 years to Lorraine Kelly, which is a good idea because she's very lovely to chat to" WTF is that about? |

According to her Twitter page its because Brian Conley wanted to speak to Lorraine! Wonder how Kate feels about that?
![]() It was strange seeing her do a Friday, I can only remember once before when she has done a Friday. She'll probably get a compensatory month off though. |

Daybreak - anagrams 'Re bad yak' / 'E drab yak'

All this, plus the proposed demise of Aled Jones's Good Morning Sunday and also the BBC replacing him as the main presenter on Songs of Praise doesn't augur well for Aled in 2013. |

So Kate was kicked off the sofa because Brian Conley wanted to be interviewed by Lorraine apparently. Nice of her to feel it was OK to demean a fellow colleague with the world on twitter!
She's just not very nice is she? |

When I heard Lorraine was on Daybreak on Friday I was hopping that it was because she was leaving, so they were getting her to do a full week and giving her a sendoff. Unfortunately that wasn't the case... And we're stuck with her next week Monday to Wednesday...

Is this still going, its finished. With ITV's new brand, I don't think its going to be a good 2013 for them, its all going to turn into mush.

Maybe Lorraine could have presented with Kate?

While the show lasts, maybe they could help by employing and interpreter

He might have felt more comfortable talking to Lorraine. Maybe he knows her or something.

Lorraine should be congratulated for negotiating a contract with ITV which allows her school holidays off when her daughter is no longer at school

With all the above LK chat, It seems that 'the lovely' Lorraine' (Aled's words) is Daybreak just as he is Good Morning Sunday and Songs of Praise (The 'and' in "While the show lasts, maybe they could help by employing and interpreter" should have been an 'an' - "While the show lasts, maybe they could help by employing an interpreter") |
