Can anyone really pick only one film as their consistently all-time favourite?

Hard to choose one from The Lord of the Rings trilogy and The Hobbit, but if pushed I would probably go for The Return of the King.

The Godfather 1 and 2
In my opinion the most perfect films ever made, every actor in it was 100% right for the role the music by Nino Rota was perfection, which makes a big difference when you consider how many films are ruined by completely inappropriate noisy music. A true masterpiece of film making. |

It's between The Mask and Fight Club. They keep swapping, two completely different films.
Lion King would be third. |

Apocalypse Now.
A masterpiece made in the edit suite, after the insanity of its' principal photography. An action movie that deals with the Big Questions of Sanity, war and the nature of humanity. They can't make em like that anymore. |

Last time I said Terminator but other fav films are:
- American Beauty - Shawn of the Dead - 28 Days Later - Interview with a Vampire - LTR - Shrek - Chronicles of Riddick - Fight Club - Matrix For series, it has to be: - Battlestar Gallactica (modern version) As people add more, I'll probably think of other favourites too. |

The Cher "mask" film was far too worthy for my liking.
