Ann Cleeves "Shetland" to air in March

Looking forward to this - I like the books and used to live up there. I hope it will be aired nationally (BBC1)

Hmmm, I wonder why they are starting with the 3rd and not the first book in the series. I'll give it a go, however, Douglas Henshall is NOT how I imagine Jimmy Perez in my head!

Shetland

I have only spent a couple of days there - I feel as if I could live there quite happily for ever!

The books are fantastic - I wonder if they will transfer to screen.

I will be watching, anyway.

Cheers

I think the link should be to http://www.douglashenshall.com/Dougl...etlandTVS.html as there's nothing on the web page you link to giving the date.

Thanks - I'd lost that page!

I spent 18 months at Saxa Vord when I was in the RAF, it can be very bleak in the winter!!!

I lived there for 18 years. It can be idyllic in the summer, but I always told anyone thinking of moving there to try staying at winter time!

I've only read the first two books, but this should hopefully be good as I like Vera
