Sponsorship problems. Looks like it really is all over this time.

I think it being over is nailed on, shame because it was starting to get good again.

Yeah, but Pete Nash wasn't ready with the new storyline yet, so the first couple of weeks are just recaps. They managed to cover 1994 to 1999 in only two days. All we know so far about the present day situation is that Nick Jarvis is no longer at Warbury, and Arab owners are trying to destroy the club. What's the betting that Nick and Eric Openshaw are going to save the day, just like so many times in the past?

Is today's episode online at all? I recall some years ago, Striker episodes would feature on The Sun's website.

For the moment, the daily strips are getting added to this article on The Sun's web site http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage...n-The-Sun.html

Thanks for that, although only episodes 1-5 + 8 are there. It's episode 7 from yesterday I've missed.

Yeah, some folks have said there was a Sunday episode in the paper? Hopefully it'll be updated on-line in due course.

Great ... dig up a thread that hasn't been posted to in 6 months, to post spam about your Striker forum!

Is it spam? There are over a dozen Striker fans within this thread so I wanted to update them.

I somehow think QuincyMD will still manage to sleep at night knowing that.

Well of course nothing good sir. I just find having someone comment on your behalf a little strange.

That takes about 20 seconds. If you bought the comic you may recall a caption competition in it? I'm hoping to bring that into SW so it has to be worth signing up?

Did this thread take an odd turn?

Welcome to the world of internet fora, good sir. Public places were anyone can back, or attack, anyone else for seemingly little to no reason, depending on who's reading.

And who doesn't love Quincy? He's my hero!
