BUT EVEN BETTER NEWS!!!!! 29th October has been confirmed as the release date!!! and it is now available to order from the Delta website!!
http://www.deltamusic.co.uk/dvd-prod...roduct_id=2543

Considering they only run for half a hour why is 4 dvds for 13 episodes.
The episodes all run for 20 minutes, but I guess they think 4 disc sets suit it. They could have done two and then made up the 4 disc set by including Series 3, but that would have taken even longer!

Nope not this time, not many for these series, but they plan to do an interview for the next boxset (Series 3)

It is now available to order on Amazon:

Minor progression - Amazon now has the image attached to the item. Still 29th October release. Glad they are doing the full series rather than one by one like S1.

They also include the writing on the back of the box, which is a bit of a spoiler in my case.

Surely it would be more attractive to the consumer if they release the series in chunks? For example 1-6 boxset, 7-12 boxset 13-18 etc? They could use blu ray tech to achieve this. I cant see how they could make a decent profit eith just one series per year...

Anyway, any news on series 3? I really do hope they release all the series because I can no longer enjoy them on Youtube as theyve pretty much disappeared...

I'm hoping we get more releases, would be such a shame to stop at series two, especially since series 3-7 for me are when Chucklevision was at it's peak.

Oh they will I assure you! Series 3 will probably be released in the latter of next year. I haven't heard anything back from them yet as I have contacted them about it, but expect it then or at least in the summer. We may get these series more quickly because the format is easier and quicker to release.

I really hope you're right! Which series was the DIY store and lighthouse episodes? Ive got a video tape recording of 5-6 episodes, which are pure gold, although the quality of the tape has greatly diminished over the 14 or so years.

Is it just me or do the boys employ half their family in the cast?
The Chuckles have very distinct features and I am often amazed how many others in the show bear a strong resemblance to them.

That was Series 8 (1995-1996) "Lock In" and "Finders Keepers" so quite a while to go for them. But in the meantime I would recommend tranferring them to DVD if you don't think they would survive that long.

The only family members are their older brothers Jimmy and Brian, the Patton Brothers. Who play No Slacking and Getoutofit. Maybe the odd appearance from a family member over the years, but nothing significant to them other two.

No I wouldn't believe that as that is one of many rumours in the last few months. But there will be another series and it has been confirmed by Paul and Barry, hopefully filming this year, but it has been disrupted by the moving of the BBC studios.

I recommend it, at least trialling the first two series, although they are much different to Series 3 onwards, but it won't cost you a budget if you don't like them. Unfortunately Series 3 has been put on the "backburner" for now, so only these two series to watch at the moment.
