Oops!...I Did It Again was my first CD I got for my B-Day.

The first album I bought was Together - S Club Juniors.

The album Joyride by Roxette in 1990/1 was my first CD.

But I was buying vinyl for many years before that.

What I did notice was that the CD packaging was much more robust in those early years.

I don't dislike any Kylie albums, but Enjoy Yourself is probably my least favourite. And Never Too Late is probably my least favourite Kylie single.

Weird that, isn't it?

Saint Etienne - Only Love Can Break Your Heart (US import CD single!)

I started buying CDs before I had a CD player!

The first album that I ever got with my own money was Shania Twain's Come On Over on the day after my 16th birthday in 1998.

God bless you and her always!!!

I don't remember the first CD I bought but I do remember the first vinyl records.

Two 7" singles: 'Blockbuster' by The Sweet / 'Telegram Sam' by T.Rex

Eek, not sure I would have owned up to that but you have reminded me that I had the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles theme on vinyl!

A lot of vinyl stuff in the 70s and 80s but first CD album was "Every Breath You Take" - The Police singles compilation. Came out in about 1986 when CDs were brand new things.
