The swordsman in Raiders Of the Lost Ark
EDIT actually got loads of these "I think he's attempting re-entry" - Moonraker The naked fight - Borat. "How about you Ian, would you like to come to a party in my pants?" - Anchorman Loki Vs Hulk - The Avengers "Yes I am the messiah..... now f**k off......, and how should we f**k off O lord?" - Life Of Brian "infamy, infamy..... they've all got it in for me...." - Carry On Cleo |

It's very hard to explain a funny moment in written form - especially if the reader hasn't seen it.
But here's mine - in 1984s The Woman In Red, there is a moment when Gene Wilder goes to a bar thinking he's meeting "the woman in red", he acts all cool by getting a barman to light his cigarette as though he's a regular. He sits down next to his frumpy old co-worker (his real life wife Gilda Radner) who is there because the date is with her but he doesn't realise that. He yelps, jumps up and runs out, he then lays in his car pretending to have a heart attack. She then casually walks past the car, reaches in and releases the handbrake sending his car off down the road whilst he shouts for help in a pathetic voice. There......sounds crap but makes me pi$$ myself everytime. |

A bit obvious, but Osgood Fielding III (Joe E. Brown) at the end of 'Some like it hot'. "Well nobody's perfect."

In 'Naked Gun' when Frank is trying to hang onto the statue's appendage and pull himself up. I remember nearly falling out of my cinema seat watching that.

The Man With Two Brains is a goldmine of classics.....
O pointy birds, O pointy pointy, Anoint my head, Anointy-nointy. "What are those assholes doing on the porch?" "Those aren't assholes. It's pronounced *azaleas*" "As you know, my research has advanced to a point where I can put her mind into the body of a gorilla." "I couldn't f*** a gorilla." |

The photo montage at the end of (both) Hangover films cracks me up.
Meet the Parents - when Stiller whacks that ball into the girl's nose whilst playing pool volleyball. |

Steve Martins rant at the Car Rental reception lady in Planes,Train and Automobiles, also the scene where Martin and Candy drive the wrong way on the road and go between two trucks.
The end shootout scene in Hot Fuzz, in the Village with Pegg and Frost riding horses. Plenty more but I can't really think atm. |

Airplane the Movie, for the Star Wars type impact it had on me as a child. Had never seen anything like it before.

The classic comedy "A Shot In The Dark" starring Peter Sellars as the bumbling gormless Inspector Clouseau has many classic moments, notably the final scenes in the lounge when he interrogates all the murder suspects. That scene has to be seen to be believed, it is pure comedy.

Most of the Marx Brother's Duck Soup, especially Groucho's first appearance at a formal ball where he arrives starts firing off insults and the famous mirror scene.

William Shatner talking through the monitor has to be one of the finest sight gags in movie history!

Most of the Life of Brian. But 'He's not the messiah, he's a naughty boy' is my favorite.
