The album Joyride by Roxette in 1990/1 was my first CD.
But I was buying vinyl for many years before that. What I did notice was that the CD packaging was much more robust in those early years. |

A lot of vinyl stuff in the 70s and 80s but first CD album was "Every Breath You Take" - The Police singles compilation. Came out in about 1986 when CDs were brand new things.
