Quadrophenia - I enjoyed this on the TV the other night, being a historical film it has aged very well.

At the cinema - The Impossible

At home - Trainspotting

The thing is, I really don't like Euan McGregor!

The Bounty

The 1984 version of the Mutiny on the Bounty tale with Mel Gibson and Anthony Hopkins as Fletcher Christian and Captain Bligh. A superb film.

The Last Stand: 6/10

Entertaining enough comeback for Arnie Johnny Knoxville is rather annoying but the last 30 minutes are great and the best part of the movie
is it a comedy or action ? Like Arnie films

Prom [2011]. Director: Joe Nussbaum

5/10

Prom time at Brookside High but there are no scousers, just Califronian teens for whom everything is so totally amazing. Feeble Disney comedy

***************

You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger [2010]. Director: Woody Allen

7/10

The usual dialogue-heavy Allen tale of relationships going astray. All very watchable though the London setting is no significance whatsoever.

About Cherry. Whilst the film was a bit of a non event, the girl who played the lead just about made up for it. 4/10

1. The Sweeter Side of Life: Lovely little movie, thoroughly enjoyable. Although it is very predictable. 7.5/10

2. Frank & Robot: Exceptional movie, i loved every minute of it, the ending was heart-warming and sad at the same time. I couldn't reccomend this film enough! 10/10!

Fury 2/10 (Lovefilms) - Starring Samuel L Jackson as the man who gets out of prison and tries to restart his life. Only the old one won't go away.

I found it pretty tedious and slow-moving to be honest. Even when the 'ewww'!! twist was introduced, I still couldn't get into it. In fact it turned me off of it even more. So I played with my cat, browsed the internet for a bit and generally watched the clock waiting for it to end.

It probably didn't help that it was Samuel L Jackson starring who is not one of my favourite actors to watch. I've only ever really liked him in Pulp Fiction and even then, that was enough Samuel L Jackson for my lifetime

Zero Dark Thirty 7-10 more of a psuedo-documentary than a film, only recommended if the subject matter really interests you

Jonah Hex 3-10 one of the worst big budget movies ever

Dinosaur Project 3-10 low budget jurassic park / cloverfield clone, effects were limited but quite well done, cant say the same for cliched plot and acting.

The Girl with the dragon tattoo - The original
Seen this film about 5 times and it gets better and better. Noomi Rapace's performance in this is one of my favs from an actress over the last few years and she deserved an oscar nomination at least.

The Sweeney, I really liked the remake, surprised more wasn't mentioned of Damien Lewis being in it, he must be a bigger star than Ray Winstone.

I now know who the new Top Gear Stigs are as well and I mean plural ( watch the extras)

Just saw this. Good movie, original plot, good acting, special effects were a bit iffy at times though.
