It was a sheer joy.....I love the 'bake off' anyway but these were great shows and they kept the best until last.

Thanks for the link! I must be one of the few people left who'd never seen TGBBO. What a lovely programme (though Mel/Sue is a bit annoying) how lovely is Mary and I now understand about Paul, which I didn't from just a photo.
How much is that Claudia's character, and how much is it her stage persona? she could be difficult to live with! But Martha Kearney, what a lovely woman she is. I always thought she had such a warm voice (though ironically, in the programme she had lost it and had to whisper - Mel/Sue did that annoying thing that people always do, and whispered back). Fun and modest despite her serious day-job. |
