My package is:
30MB broadband Internet
Phone is free evenings and weekends
TV is XL with all sports and films
And I have the TiVo box also
Paying £80 bang on including the price rise we all had.

I think a few people and telling a few white lies but my package is the real deal.

Was this a retentions deal?

I think that's what I'd like to be paying. I've got the VIP collection, but it's a bit overkill on the phone and broadband.

It was as I was moving house so I called to cancel completely. I then mention sky was doing a better deal so when I move into the new house I will join them, the telesales guy was like "hold on a minute let me see what I can do!"

Next think I know I've rejoined and got everything I wanted.

Remember this is only one box, no multi room!

I think I'll be giving them a call - that's a great deal. We may be moving house soon, so could wait to see if that'll work better, otherwise I'm happy to drop BB to 30MB - saving around £360 per year!

Fair point. Although our V+HD box is lying in the loft unused as we have nowhere in our room that it could sit easily.

XL tv.
XL phone.
60mb broadband.
V+hd AND tivo.

£64 odd, rising to a fiver extra so £69 which after looking on here seems steap to me.

60Mb BB
Size M TV (free - no longer available to new customers)
Basic Phone with Weekends (Paid £120 for the year upfront so it's £10 per m) Very rarely use the phone though.

£18 per m (NOT including the £10 phone line rental already paid for)

We also have 2x TVOnics HD DTRs - 1 upstairs & 1 downstairs -so we can record anything from Freeview plus pause & rewind live TV just like a Tivo

it is if you take the classic pack. Your DTR's may do the same as TiVo but they aren't triple tuner, no on demand, and less selection than M.

Still not bad price in reality though. seems like your pack is very akin to the classic pack just a few extras.

......
We can still record 2 channels while watching a 3rd on each of the DTRs We don't care about On Demand at all, and have the M cable TV in a different room for any channel different from Freeview.
TBH there isn't that much on television worth watching most days, & when there is, it often arrives at the same time.

This was my latest bill

TV Size: XL

I've previously tried to get rid of the movies but was told my package would be recalculated and end up more expensive.

Oh go on then.......name & shame.........you know you want to! FYI, mine is correct. Not sure whether mines good or bad really. We already had the V+ and a standard box so when we took the Tivo, were they giving out a V+ with it? If so, should they have swapped out the old vbox, giving us 1xTivo and 2xV+? Seem to remember reading this was the case, but probably not!

I've been a regular reader of the forum over the past couple of years and finally got round to registering to get involved....

My current package is an old one that has been neglected and is probably due a price challenge with VM.

TV XL
BB M
V+ HD £44.15
TELEPHONE LINE £14.99
TOTAL £59.14 (calls on top)

The BB speed upgrade offer date seems to been moved three times so not holding up much hope for that in the near future.
